"guys i jumped off a cliff and had to restart help" [editline]15th January 2016[/editline] seriously though pawns really just don't matter and you can get them back next time you're near a riftstone or an inn
I managed to die before leaving Cassardis for the first time.
riding wild cows is the best spare time this game has to offer i advice you all to try it
riding wild cows is the best spare time this game has to offer i advice you all to try it
I agree. "Goblins aren't the only threat here, Mercedes." :smug:
The eternal ferrystone is in your inventory at the Gran Soren inn. Also the artbook and soundtrack are missing because Valve's backend fucked up. Capcom are trying to fix it with Valve.
Oh my god I just got this game, and I was nearing the end of the quest with the hydra head cart, when I realized I could throw people around. I accidentally threw one of my pawns off a cliff. I went to go get him and I also fell off the cliff. Now I gotta do all that shit again. These checkpoints don't seem very generous.
I made a really shitty and scary pawn and immediately after, when that hydra attacked, my pawn decided to jump straight into the hydras mouth. She got eaten and digested.
Can you roll in this game? I keep getting eaten by wolves.,
I agree.
Can you roll in this game? I keep getting eaten by wolves.,
Like someone mentioned earlier, Striders, Rangers, Assassins, and Magick Archers can obtain a skill limited to daggers that allows them to roll.
gonna hang myself because i fucking loathe leveling vocations. and for some reason it feels like it takes way longer now than first time around. im level 22 and im not even a rank 10 fighter yet
gonna hang myself because i fucking loathe leveling vocations. and for some reason it feels like it takes way longer now than first time around. im level 22 and im not even a rank 10 fighter yet
I was researching this earlier actually http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Discipline_Points You could farm lots of lower level creatures at the Conqueror's Sanctuary for example, but yeah I'm level 24 and a rank 8 strider
gonna hang myself because i fucking loathe leveling vocations. and for some reason it feels like it takes way longer now than first time around. im level 22 and im not even a rank 10 fighter yet
You don't REALLY need it until you're doing endgame or BBI, and at that point (post-game) there's a comically fast way to level vocation points.
Holy shit the artbook is 313 pages long.
The artbook is breathtaking.
How do i access the artbook?
How do i access the artbook?
Go to the location of the game (steamapps/common/DDAA/) and there should be folders for the artbook and soundtrack.
Right click game on steam list > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files > #ARTBOOK folder. [editline]16th January 2016[/editline] Goddamn :ninja:
I am a weak man and I gave in... I'll play some tomorrow and work a little more to compensate for my budget slip up.
Holy shit the artbook is 313 pages long.
I'm really glad I pre-ordered, 53 tracks and a 313 page art book? That's how you do a pre-order bonus
It's so nice finally being able to play this game at 60fps. I forgot how fun some of the Strider skills are, especially stepping stone. I need to get a better program for it.
Went into the well, died to the lizards. Fucking save 30min before hand. I forgot how often you need to save in this game, like save after every battle. Seriously. Just do it, it'll save you a headache later on.
So I accidentally went to a new area and I think it's the DLC area. I talked to a girl at the docks of my hometown and I got transported somewhere. Can I go back or am I kinda screwed now?
Talk to her, travel back to Cassardis.
Why didn't I think of that :v: thanks!
The artbook has some pretty neat comments about the lore of the game. There's some freaky shit in there like [sp]the Evil Eye's are actually eyes of dragon's who focused all their magic into their eye when they were defeated. The tentacles on the Evil Eye's are the optic nerves.[/sp]
Is there a way to change how your character looks?
Is there a way to change how your character looks?
To my knowledge just NG+.
Is there a way to change how your character looks?
There's a merchant in the Encampment that sells an item lets you change the look of your character and pawn. You need a lot of rift crystals to buy it though, so you'll most likely not have enough 'til you're near the end of the base game.
