That ogre thing in Everfall just runs away
So annoying
Aw what the fuck. If you get arrested you need to sit in the cell for 48 minutes real time? That's fucking dumb
you can also just bribe a guard 5k gold. if you don't have 5k gold he'll just take however much gold you have.
but yeah 48 minutes real time is a full day/night cycle
I was grappling an ogre in Everfalls and it fell to the bottom instantly killing it, but it cushioned my fall and I survived unscathed
It felt fucking badass

How do you bribe? Every time I've been nabbed, it's just, "you're going to jail," I advance the chat box, then I'm in jail. I never saw a button to bribe or anything like that.
Oh and if you have a skeleton key I think you can just unlock the cell door and waltz out but I could be mis-remembering.

while in jail there's a guard that walks by the cell every so often, if you're close enough to the cell door he'll ask for a bribe from you.
Can't you escape the cell too?

I don't remember ever having to actually sit in the cell on the 360 version.

The cell you get is RNG and the cell in the back right side I believe has a tunnel with a bunch of mushrooms that lets you escape.
you can escape if you have a skeleton key, you have to unlock your cell, get another skeleton key from a chest and unlock the cell with the tunnel
No matter how many times I rest, my pawn just won't show up for my friends. He was never hired by anyone else either, so I don't know if he is even uploaded correctly at all :saddowns:
Ur Gen 2 is at 2.6 right now, I expect a grace period some time in the next few hours. Those early generations go FAST.

I've been reading that quite of few people have been problems with the pawns system in general. Hoping it gets sorted out quickly because it is an interesting aspect of the game.

Skeleton keys can be bought from the black cat one at a time, in the seedy back streets of Gran Soren
Also I've gotten at least 3 from the chest at the top of the staircase that leads from the fields inside Gran Soren to the Noble District
also you don't need to unlock your cell door and then the sneaky other door, you can just straight up walk through the castle and leave, your equipment's in your inventory. You won't get thrown back in jail for a jailbreak at all, no one really cares.
You can also make skeleton keys by combining a shackle with a hammer/hunk of ore/scrap iron/unremarkable ore. Bandits have a chance of dropping shackles and the ore is easy enough to come by.
also if you're fast enough you can use a ferrystone to port right back to the gran soren portcrystal thing, crimes don't carry over between fast travels
im the first few qquests in the game, in gran soren and im already overwhelmed with quests
i got killed by 5 saurian creadloids in the middle of nowhere in the north and quit for now

God damn, I wish I knew this before I got arrested 4 times

Most of the quests you get from notice boards are just side things that you accomplish while exploring the world. Don't worry about completing them as fast as possible.

Reynard also sells shackles, he has 10 in his inventory at a time and they're quite cheap. They weigh a shitton though.
Honestly i've been through several playthroughs without crafting a single item or using many consumables outside of healing items of all sorts. The game never really placed any emphasis on it so i just never did it.

I have 130 hours on xbox and there's still several I haven't completed.
Collect 50 war bugles, wtf? I've found like 3 over 4 NG+es

Yeah I don't even know where to get those or who drops them.

My guess is it's (postgame) [sp]off the guards that attack you after you fight the duke[/sp]
So I'm asking this for a friend who plans on getting the PC version, has anyone found a way to mod back in the Berserk armors? He was really hype to wear those again.
Anybody defeated the minotaurs in BB island? The one that executes you
It got to have some kind of weakness
I bought the game today and I'm about to get started. Would you guys recommend I use KB+M or a controller?

Stamina items were very useful against Ur-Dragon.
am I the only one that thinks hotkeys are overpowered? just stack 50 greenwarish and put them on a hotkey - spam when you're about to die or lose HP
the benefit of not having to open up the inventory is nice, but there's no animation or anything, you just consume the item
Yeah I don't even know where to get those or who drops them.
I've found them in a chest to the right as you go through the door at the top of the staircase to the noble district from the fields within Gran Soren, if you follow this bullshit sentence
There's a notice board quest (might be in the Encampment, might be in the Pawn Guild or somewhere else) but I'm pretty sure it's a kill X quest and the reward is x40 war bugles. You can essentially collect a few, dupe some at the black cat to make up 10 then do that and you're done
PSA: If you have a really nice item but you have to hand it in for a quest *cough* wyrmking ring *cough* then you can commission a forgery at the black cat, hand it in and keep the item, they'll be none the wiser
There's like a thousand things in this game that can be PSA'd
