Okay you all can edit it now too because i'm stupid and forgot to change it
Does anyone know how to / if its possible to use cheat engine to give myself 2 million currency? I somehow managed to sell the eternal ferry stone in GS when I got there and the only way to get it back is from buying it back from the Blackcat market or whatever its called :(
Money is stored as a 4 byte. You can easily change it with something like Cheat engine Just scan for your money, have the value update, scan for the updated value, there's your money.

Also, totally forgot about the lake in this game. I just never pass it.
Added my Pawn to the spreadsheet, maybe she'll actually get hired now.
And I thought no one will ever summon my pawn, then this happens. Now I am rolling in this currency and have no use for it.

And a short question, if I level Sorcerer will this increase my Base magic stat? Kinda curious since I want to roll Mystic night and I noticed my magic stat is all the way down.
No one hires my pawn. I guess no one likes fighters :(
No one hires my pawn. I guess no one likes fighters :(
Seems like most peoples pawns are mages/sorcerers and themselves a fighting vocation, so thinks like Rangers or Warriors get most picks.
My friend's ranger gets used like a bathroom stall in a gas station.
BBI is intense.
My pawn started getting hired once I switched from warrior to strider
There seems to be a severe shortage of strider/ranger pawn when visiting the rift, too

My pawn is a fighter atm, she already is rank 10 in mage and sorcerer. You even see her left of the menu completely unobstructed by it. Tho I want her to be a Mystic knight in the end.

Warriors as well, i saw probably five in the Rift earlier, if that.

Only Arisen can be Hybrid vocations.

Damn. I am still running around in the DLC area and I have to say that area is harsh as fuck. First [sp]a giant skeleton that doesn't take damage at all. Then a chamber with a chained cyclopse that makes pawns go in full retard mode only to make them and me target of around 5 mages SOMEWHERE in that tall room and one gargoyle that fucking petrifies you if you do not have a specific vanity item.[/sp]
I am currently at the very end of the game and I cannot see how to make that area bearable unless there is some hidden unlock tree after you defeat the dragon or something.

ha, look at this guy. [sp]he thinks defeating the dragon is the end of the game.[/sp]

you aught to come prepared (and highly leveled up)
i'd wager that chained cyclops being one of the hardest bosses in the game, unless you cheese him
you basically just gotta be high level and have really good equipment
Hey guys, I wanna ask something because I remeber have played the demo of the game when it went out on PS3. Is this something like Dark Souls? The demo had the starting area and it was amazing. I hope this game gets a sale this summer because I wanna buy it.

They're vaguely similar due to both of them being 3rd person action RPGs, I guess, but beyond that the similarities end pretty quickly.

thematically it's a little bit like dark souls.
gameplay isn't like dark souls one bit, though.
As long I can go anywhere I want and can do any mission I want anytime is good.
Also another silly question: is this the same game they released on PS3 but with any dlc included or it's just another new game?

So you gotta play NG+ or something in order to get high level and get good gear?
I fucking love this game, holy shit. I've been playing practically non-stop since the PC release.
I don't think I've ever seen such well-done dragons and magic in a videogame before.

[sp]just go kill the dragon already[/sp]
Not sure if this has been talked about yet, but a warning to you completionists and weapon/armor collectors. The way the questing works is in stages essentially, if you progress to far through the main story before completing certain quests the quest will be canceled and unable to be done until NG+. There's also a couple quests that if either the "wrong" choice is made or if you don't complete it then you lose out on a lot of weapons and armor later on.
Just a heads up

i can't play skyrim anymore because the dragons are so tiny and cute in comparison

To me, the game feels a lot like a Fable game.
The sense of exploration is there for me. I go way out of my way between taking up quests to just explore and see what I'll come across, as I did when I played Fable games. It's really exciting for me to see what I'll come across in this huge world. I haven't even played that much of the game yet (around 20~ hours), but I really enjoy traveling around the world.
And I remember, specifically from Fable 2, that running into bigger enemies out in the world was exciting for me too, and I get the same vibe from Dragon's Dogma.
This might be the best action RPG I've played in years. It just plays right and there's so many ways you can expand on your character through the vocation system for you and main pawn too.
I don't really know why I'm typing this out, but I'm really enjoying this game.

not really, all you have to do is knock his helmet off and then shoot/stab him in the face until he falls over, then do it some more
wait until you get to the room with two of them

At which point you hide in the hallway and blast them with crazy sorcerer magick.

i suppose even they become trivial much like the regular cyclops, making it possible to fight several at once.
the game does the same thing with the regular cyclops (first you fight only 1, then it sends 2 at you later in the game when you've gained more levels, and experience with the game mechanics).

Found this guy in the rift and I can't help but find his ratings hilarious. I hired him just to see if he really is that bad, so far he seems to not do much except from talking.
