More RPGs need something similar to the pawn system.
connection failed error please reconnect when i try to retrieve the MAD DOSH AND QUEWST KNOWLEDGE my pawn got
what do what happen did someone hack me
Servers seems a bit unstable at the moment I guess?
Damn postgame difficulty ramp is pretty damn steep, on hard mode at least. Time to invest some of that sweet RC to hire some good pawns to teach me the ropes
What should I do first, everfall or BBI?

They're both pretty hard. BBI is easier at the beginning than Everfall imo.
for those who've spent more time with assassin than me, how useful does easy kill really end up being as a skill? it's been useful against small mobs but i'm guessing it's not something you can use against larger monsters?

You can use it against larger monsters. However it doesn't work against grabs and shit.
As for how useful it is, ehh, it's okay. I have it simply because none of the other skills fit my play-style currently, it gets some use.

yeah i've felt the same way since at the moment i'm really not different at all from my max ranked strider. it's certainly been flashy doing a reset into it but it's really not efficient at all.

The upgraded version, Masterful Kill, is one of the best skills in the game IMO. It does a ton of damage (it scales with your damage so getting better daggers will make the skill much more effective), it can hit large enemies up to 4 times, you're invincible while doing the attack, and any physical hit (not ranged or grabs) can't hurt you while you stand ready.
It was possible on the original version of the game for a solo Assassin to kill the offline Ur-Dragon in only a couple of Masterful Kills.

I don't know if you can still murder the Ur-Dragon with it now.
BBI is easier at the beginning than Everfall imo.
Not really. Everfall's Evil Eye is a lot easier than BBI's Gazer.
Nearly everything in BBI is a dps check while Everfall is more of a challenge. Except for Ur-Dragon. Fuck this guy.
I'm not far into the game, but I'm pretty sure Rook has mental issues. I'm at one point and he keeps running head first into a bunch of bandits.
Edit: bye rook
you've been replaced

Continuing the Arisen and Pawn trend.

Switch to offline if you want to actually see yourself do damage to the Ur-Dragon. Otherwise you're fighting with everyone else playing the game to try and kill him.

I've never been able to kill the Ur-Dragon even in grace periods. Even with a character that solo'd BBI.

Well, there is Xenoblade X, but in an example of A++ game design they made them basically worthless by virtue of having traditional NPC party members available that all can have their build micromanaged, in addition to Scouts having time limits on their usage (30-45 minutes IIRC), costing a fuckton of money to recruit in a game where money IS very much an object, and the fact that most players (At least on the North American server) have absolutely awful builds that make you ask "How the hell did they get to the endgame content?"
Also I don't even think they can pilot mechs, which is sorta where most of the game is. As far as I can tell, they're only useful when you can't be arsed to hunt down an NPC you want in your party, or a relevant party member for a certain boss is too underleveled and you need the nearest equivalent fast instead of grinding him up to par.

Does this breastplate make me look fat? Going for functionality over aesthetics right now, need to finish the main quests so I can get some of them post game rare armours
At least my pawn isn't dressed like a harlot or a fucking monarch, love me some overknee boots tho
I used to make a nice female Arisen

the resemblance is uncanny(!)
Something is absolutely wrong with difficulty spikes at BBI.
Cursed dragon almost gave me a mental issue so I skipped him.
Few minutes later I faceroll Dark Bishop.
the only things in the everfall that really come close to being as difficult as bbi is the 2 chimeras and wight room, the ur dragon, and maybe the 2 cockatrices
cursed dragon is a fucking sponge and you can encounter it in 3~ areas in bbi, its fuckin ridiculous
Yeah but cursed dragon is great for dat sweet sweet dragonforgefarming
On xbox I think I killed like 50 of the fuckers to dragonforge god knows how much gear, so good.

If it makes you feel better I was farming cursed dragons for ages, but when I got to dark bishop he walled me for about 5 days in real life.
Speaking of fashion - am I doomed to look like a fucking can or are there any options for good looking armor/clothes?
Really don't want to be another Arisen the Tank.

Dark Bishop's dragon is a lot weaker than Cursed Dragons, it has about 30% of their health.
no those big hounds in BBI are stupid as all hell with their nigh-instakill ram attacks.
also v.bullshit one can appear when youre already fighting a boss i.e cockatrice, and you kill 3 hobgoblins around it and thats apparently enough for a massive warg to come fuck shit up
Online Ur-Dragon's in its grace period now.
Loot pinata ahoy.
