So how likely is it that we'll get armour mods and stuff? Or is it going to be like dark souls where the closest thing would be reskins
MT Framework has a lot of model swap potential, so expect armor replacement mods but nothing that actually adds new shit in. Video game fashion is important.
Is there no way to search for pawns based on username anymore? I swear you could do that in the console versions.
workin on it, prolly gonna just ng+ because of how underlevelled i am for daimon (67 and still underdpsing him so fuck it)
You don't need Daimon for hydra bits, they're all from quests. http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Immortal%27s_Armor_Set
look how cool you could look [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DzDkLMz.jpg[/img_thumb]
if you're a ranged class the really easy way to kill garms/elder ogres is to put the beast incense in your inventory (it should be in your box) and then for garms go to the rotunda of dread and for elder ogres go to the black abbey (that might be backwards) and if you're lucky like five of them will spawn and you can cheese both of them by jumping onto ridges in the arena and falling to their death (an ogre loses six health bars from that fall, it's hilarious to see) if you're not then uh good luck i hope you have a lightning enchant
just purchased the game and I'm getting serious "play the game with a controller" vibes from the menu. is this a game that's more enjoyable with a controller or are the M+KB controls good enough?
just purchased the game and I'm getting serious "play the game with a controller" vibes from the menu. is this a game that's more enjoyable with a controller or are the M+KB controls good enough?
Keyboard is fine, but some of the default key mappings are weird, and the only "go back in a menu" key is Esc. You can't rebind Esc, and it never stops being awkward to reach over to it when you could have just pressed the B button on a controller. Also the whole "Bow Mode" thing is really weird, it's kind of useless and annoying and you have to press a separate key to do bow skills anyway. Unless you REALLY like using mouse aiming for the Bow, go with controller if you can. The game is clearly designed with it in mind.
Whoa shit where did this come from Thought they were just never going to port and that was that. Is Dark Arisen basically just an overhauled version of the original?

Hello, Dragon's Dogma megathread. I am in a predicament. I jumped in a well at level 7, killed some rats and bats and then spent an hour killing some spear wielding lizard dudes by spamming fire that Rook granted me to stunlock the beasts rolling on the ground forever. I then got on a boat and went to a spooky place. Since arriving at this spooky place, I have jumped to level 12 and was held captive by a giant skellington. I lured the giant skellington in to four stacked explosive barrels and took off half it's hp. It cornered me on a ledge, and in a last ditch effort I threw a throwblast in it's fucking face and destroyed it. I started carrying around explosive barrels, but it seems that this dungeon adapts to player tactics as it started putting skellington mages on ledges out of reach of explosive barrels. Also my arrows do not damage them. Please help. I am writing these messages on skulls and throwing them at migrating birds and hoping they reach people who can save me. PS: I ran past a huge grim reaper motherfucker after Rook and my Pawn died to a bunch of dogs in the first room. [thumb]https://my.mixtape.moe/qawqqp.jpg[/thumb] [editline]help[/editline] I ran past some more skellingtons and mages and am now in a very dark area called something something Helix. My lantern just ran out of oil. [editline]ohno[/editline] oh no [thumb]https://my.mixtape.moe/zkrkav.jpg[/thumb]
what happened next part 2 pls
what happened next part 2 pls
I rapidly looted two chests and ran the fuck out of a room that screamed bad time, in to a cosy little swamp full of jumping fuckers that take off half my HP with every 8 kilometer jump attack they do. Also a mage has appeared. This swamp is not cosy. It is horrible. On the plus side, I am now once again (after dropping a lot of useless miscelanious things like potions, herbs and some slightly inferior weapons) at a heavy load thanks to all of these hunks of platinum I have just mined. I am glowing, too, which can only be a good thing. The game is rewarding my bravery. It is probably an armor buff to aid my survivability. I also have some more speculation: I have plenty of oil, but my lantern does not work. This is probably because it is very humid down here. There is likely a very reasonable explanation that isn't a danger to me. [thumb]https://my.mixtape.moe/azziln.jpg[/thumb] There does not seem to be another exit to this room. I remember seeing some stairs in that big fucking room with the giant morningstar in it. I hope there are conveniently placed explosive barrels next to the mages tossing fireballs at me.
Your first mistake was going to BBI at fucking level 7.
Your first mistake was going to BBI at fucking level 7.
tbf there's not really any way to know that's a mistake if you're going into the game blindly.
no you did good good job buddy now keep doing it until you can kill the beholder with throwblasts
it bums me out when people use my pawn enough to rack up 80,000 RC but then don't even actually rate and just leave it at 3 on everything it's happened 3 times today
tbf there's not really any way to know that's a mistake if you're going into the game blindly.
except the many tooltips that appear on occasion saying "only seasoned adventurers should hang out at bitterblack isle"
end-game
Using stamina potions and healing items on hotkey, I managed to run to the top of fuck-mage-tower with a gargoyle hounding my ass every second. All i got was a stupid talking key and a chest I didn't get to loot before using a crystal that teleported me back to the beginning. I am getting on that boat and not coming back here. I have killed very few things yet have reached level 15. I have also purified a bunch of cursed items with these rift crystals I have been getting here. That was like going to New Londo Ruins at the beginning of Dark Souls. Only a fucking thousand times worse in every single way jesus christ. [editline]fuck[/editline] Oops, I think Rook is dead. Forever dead.
end-game
A guarantee that your pawn will get hired.
end-game
I had it on my character when i first fought the drake and it was the only goddamn item that got dragonforged
There's one thing about the ending of this game that I don't like, (Ending spoilers obviously) [sp]It's the fact that the Seneschal changes in NG+ and so on, Savan and Salde were cool dudes and I'm not a fan of the fact that next time I reach the ending there's a chance of the Seneschal being an ogre with his loli slave.[/sp]

[sp]becoming the seneschal is probably the biggest anti-climax. youre what, invisible all the time and you cant really do anything at all even though youre practically a god. but yeah lets just have the player.. be invisible and kinda.. do nothing because[/sp]
look how cool you could look [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DzDkLMz.jpg[/img_thumb]
Ok I need to know where to get that big dumb witch hat because I want it and I need it.
http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Adept's_Hat I use it because it looks fucking dumb but also it makes weapon enchants last longer which means it's really useful. my pawn is in the top 200 pawns online right now, which is weird and hilarious
ok who the fuck
