That reminds me. I should hire every facepuncher's pawn and put em in jester suits to send back.
end-game
Speaking of, is this tradable?
that guy's great against ogres since they'll think he's a girl, eat him, and then fall over sick
Ending spoilers Motherfucker I don't even have a DDDA/nativePC/id folder and I just re-downloaded the whole game
Just beat the game since I never beat it when I had it on PS3. The hell was that ending?
Just beat the game since I never beat it when I had it on PS3. The hell was that ending?
I'd assume [sp]it's your arisen breaking the cycle. All the exposition around it is the arisen is basically a test to find a replacement for the Seneschal to keep the world turning by guiding everything along as sorta a master puppeteer. You kill yourself instead ending the cycle and at the same time giving your pawn autonomy with your body.[/sp] But assuming makes an ass out of you and me.
Now complete the game again for something really fun.
HHNNNGGG. Save got corrupted, somehow. Welp, starting over!
I guess it's a good time to remind people to back up their saves then, I forgot myself Saves are located at: Steam\userdata\[steamuserid]\367500\remote\DDDA.sav it'd be nice if a modder could come up with a tool for this (or if there's a general save backup tool around, might even use my standard backup software) You only get one save, and can invest hundreds of hours into it after all
HHNNNGGG. Save got corrupted, somehow. Welp, starting over!
did you by any chance equip the Cursed King's Belt? equipping that item on the yourself will crash the game, and potentially corrupt the entire save as well.
did you by any chance equip the Cursed King's Belt? equipping that item on the yourself will crash the game, and potentially corrupt the entire save as well.
Nope. I was playing 2 nights ago, rested at the Inn in Gran Soren, and quit normally. Booted it up and there was no "Load" option :( All my settings got reset as well. Very odd. Doesn't matter that much. I had only gotten to Gran Soren and explored the Everfall a bit, reached about level 15 or so, just dicking around. It helps that I knew what I was doing, having played the 360 version, without Dark Arisen. Never got around to finishing it though.
These bugs are driving me crazy Managed to softlock the Fournival trial mission by doing it too fast. The NPC is gone forever
i feel like im missing something as im progressing. ive gotten board quests to go to witchwood and give stuff to selene but i havent had any other reason to go there yet. last time i played on my friends console i remember going early-ish?

You also go back later after meeting with the Duke for the first time.[/sp]
[sp]becoming the seneschal is probably the biggest anti-climax. youre what, invisible all the time and you cant really do anything at all even though youre practically a god. but yeah lets just have the player.. be invisible and kinda.. do nothing because[/sp]
It's showing you what a shit job it actually is.
[sp]There should've been a quest from a villager in Cassardis to go find Quina after she runs off there. My pawn is getting a lot of good reviews from people who use him and I'm really happy about it.
My pawn is getting a lot of good reviews from people who use him and I'm really happy about it.
Hey bby, I give him 5 stars every time. I did have to throw him off a cliff so I could chat up Ophis, but I'll get him back once I go back to Gran Soren. [editline]21st January 2016[/editline] Going to be honest, I've become pretty attached to Axel. I've had him with me since the Encampment, the couple of times I had a different Fighter pawn it felt weird. It almost makes me sad the pawns you hire through the game don't get some kind of recognition in the story.

I can't even play the game anymore since I'm stuck at the ending
when can i find out about grace periods cause im fighting gen 18 ur-dragon atm and wanna know when i can hop on to kill him instead of doing petty damage

Also he's like level 50 something now if you haven't rehired him to update his level.
fuck. i guess ill just find witchwood myself then and give her this goddamn plant
You get the second quest from [sp]some people outside the Union Inn in Gran Soren talking about her. After listening to their conversation it should add a quest to your log.[/sp]
This game is so fucking good holy shit I expected some mediocre time waster and got a fucking gem of an action game
I apparently don't have the Ferrystone in my storage? Nor any Portcrystal. What. I still haven't reached Gran Soren though, I've been exploring and taking my time doing every quest. (Done now, even billboard) since I'm COMPLETELY new to the game, do these two items only show up at some point? Like reaching Gran Soren.
pretty sure its specified that you get them when reaching gran soren so reach gran soren
it bums me out when people use my pawn enough to rack up 80,000 RC but then don't even actually rate and just leave it at 3 on everything it's happened 3 times today
From what I remember of the pawn system (dunno if its changed) that can most likely mean your pawn died in that person's world, since that sends your pawn back with all the RCs they got during their adventure but also sends them back with the default 3 star rating. I like to be optimistic that its not just people being apathetic/lazy.

You'll get port crystals as you do main quests and side quests. I would recommend keeping one port crystal on your person or in your storage in case you need a fast travel point in a place far, far away.
