Does NG+ increase the game's difficulty ? Does it also reset BBI ? because it costs a lot to repair the riftstones.

No to the first one and not sure about the 2nd.
Not sure what you mean reset BBI but the riftstones stay fixed
Also for rusted weapons, assuming you aren't planning on continuously switching weapons back and forth, best option is to have a scather strider pawn with rusted bow, they'll mostly engage with the daggers but they will periodically back off to take potshots with the bow, enough to keep torpor up at all times in most situations without sacrificing raw damage. That's how I got my pawn set up atm and it kicks ass
it resets your BBI and story progress but you keep all unlocks, weapons, skills, your pawn, etc
also nothing scales so there's literally no point in doing NG+ except the achievement
i went like fighter to 10 -> warrior to 30 -> assassin to 50+ (ongoing)
am i boned from using magic if i wanted to play mage or sorcerer on NG+ should i just make a new character

More stuff I recorded while playing.
Has some spoilers.
This video made me want to buy DD a third time. I forgot how hype Warriors were with AoD.
Just the giant "FUCK. YOU." swing to end all things.

You can play a magick character any time you want. 90% of your damage and defense will come from gear, not stats.
look who i found!

This game can be pretty sometimes.

final quest spoilers/question:
[sp] was the Seneschal supposed to be really easy on first run? i drained his whole bar every time with 1-2 hits from my dagger and insta killed his pawn[/sp]

Overleveled. My first time fighting him on the xbox 360 he was a good fight. On PC since i already knew where to go and where most of the quests were I one-shotted him with a charged shot from my staff.

It's more like 70%

Checked on my pawn for the first time in 3 days. I think he might have been borrowed for BBI considering his user sent him back fully equipped in griffon armor and a new sword which blew all his old stuff out of the water. Praise generosity!
Is there a website or something that tracks the PC version's Ur-Dragon (which generation he's on, how much health he has, when his grace period begins, stuff like that)? I know there are multiple trackers for the console versions, but I haven't been able to find a single one for the PC version.
Also, is it just me, or does the Ur-Dragon's health fluctuate during rounds? Maybe I'm not paying enough attention to his health bar, or I'm just tired and the little purple dots that indicate the number of health bars he has are blurring together.
I love gifting pawns actual gear, but I am always thinking "but what if they have better gear right now?!?" so I just keep looking for even better shit until I send them back with dragonforged stuff.
altho' I sent a pawn back one time with silk lingerie and shackles :v:
Gonna start BBI. Anyone want me to take their pawn with me? Don't care what level it is so this'll get you a good amount of RC.

In the Steam Discussions of the game, there's actually a sub-thread for the Ur-Dragon, it may not be the most reliable but it gets comments from folk stating its health and stuff regularly.

fuck :ninja:
there isn't a tracker site yet but the steam forums have a section specifically for it and each thread has people constantly posting the number of healthbars and when its in grace or not
and yeah his health fluctuates, there's multiple dragons but they're all part of the same generation
Ah, I see. I'll keep an eye on the steam forums then, although at the rate it's going, I'll end up having to go to sleep before this generation gets his zombie-ass kicked back into the hell he flew out of. I'll have to jump into whichever generation comes around when I come back tomorrow.

Little late but snag BRUTE WILLIS if you want. Make him less of a bitch.
well, after playing this game nonstop and clocking in at 100 hours, i must say i feel extremely burnt out
Oh wow, restarted BBI tries so hard past Dark Bishop.
[sp]Room with living armor? Nope suck 2 drakes/wyrms or whatever they were but jesus the stunlock is real.
Skipped and entered Forgotten City. Thunderwyrm and living armors in every fucking corner. Ok, I can outrun them too... 3 eliminator near the temple on a small bridge. Wow.
But the first price goes to Daimon's second form which is literally a flying damage sponge with no weak spots and basically a big FUCK YOU to fighters and warriors.[/sp]
People are saying the ur-dragon generation 18 is at 1.1 right now, there should be a grace period not much later in the day right? I'm only around level 65+ but I should still probably be able to cheekily get some sweet gear off it

I'm trying a chrome extension called auto refresh plus, the guy who did the Ur-dragon guide in the steam guides recommended it. It can auto refresh a page, search for a string (in this case, "#grace") and notify you
I found a pawn that gets up on it's own when in bleed out, how's it doing that? Checked the equipment and skills couldn't find anything
except the many tooltips that appear on occasion saying "only seasoned adventurers should hang out at bitterblack isle"
Being that it pops up pretty much right off the bat, I can imagine many people would probably think it's just slightly higher level, if they have no idea that it's supposed to be a post-game expansion area, which they don't really convey at all in-game.

Sure it's not this?

There's a piece of equipment, I think you can buy it from the Black Cat, which has a special enchantment that allows pawns to do that. Can't remember what it is though.

Beat me to it.

If it's a mage, there's a staff called Legion's Might that has the effect of reviving pawns when they're downed. Doesn't have the same effect for the arisen, though.
Awesome. Managed to squeak my way into gen 18's Grace Period and killed him in under a minute. Everyone else looking for an easy kill come on in before it's too late!
people who did nothing to help kill the dragon please come collect your undeserved rewards
First time I witnessed the grace period. Really wanted to get the Ascalon, tho instead got the Lustrous Greatshield, which was also on my wanted list.
Guess there is always next time. Maybe I finally can do at least a little bit of the DLC area.
