Level 60 if you want to get in there as early as possible really.
Level 100 if you want to be able to do shit in there without getting beat up all the time.
I went in there as a warrior (Not even fully levelled), on NG+, on hard.
I could clear trash and such, but no bosses.

Warrior and Fighter have next to no chance in there and it saddens me.
;49602940']I'm in the[sp]Everfall, after defeating Grigori[/sp]and I'm like level 51.
At this point you should probably [sp]fight bosses in the Everfall to level up and try to beat BBI before giving the wakestones to Quince. Once you do that you're on the fast track to NG+.[/sp]

You could also go onto hard mode and do quests/fight monsters for that 4x XP gain.

Hard mode requires restarting the game. A tip - If you want your NG+ to be hard mode, finish the game, choose to load game to start NG+ and get to the first inn/save point on normal before quitting to start hard mode so that the reset works properly.

Yeah, but you don't lose progress on normal mode. At least that's how it worked when I played the PS3 version of the game.
I cheesed Daimon's second form with tenfold blast flurry and this thing is super op.
At least he gave me revenant wail from one of those bb gear v3 things.

Guess it's back to Magic archer or Magic knight then.

You don't, I started a NG+ on hard, got my xp, items, vocations and can still fight ur-dragon.
Sweet fucking jesus i'm level 30 or so and am on my way to meet the duke and i'm still using Magicians Crutch. I don't remember it taking this long to unlock a new bow.
I didn't realize that going in to NG+ ramped up the difficulty. Post-game I thought I had no way out of [sp]everfall[/sp] so I just helped out Quince. Here I am now in NG+ level 64 and every time a carrion animal that isn't a giant wolf shows up I just sight and run to an exit because I have next to no chance. I've killed two carrion ogres, one I lured off a bridge and the other used up 8 wakestones and all of my healing/stamina items because it two shot me or one shot me with a bodyslam.
I wish I had a pre-post-game save so much so I could experience BBI for the first time without it being chip damage vs anything boss like.
[editline]fuck[/editline]
It doesn't help that things respawn all the time. Need key, go get key from door near a tower. Come back to tower being gone for 5 minutes and the thing that took me 5 minutes to kill has respawned and so has the seemingly guaranteed carrion spawn that i just spent all of my items defeating. I know it's my own fault for going in to NG+ BBI for the first time at level 64 but jeez.
It seems my pawn gets pretty popular.
She often comes back with 50k+ RC and a wakestone.
If you want a well equipped Challenger/Mitigator ranger - look for Blasty Caxx.
How do I change my pawn's vocation? I made the mistake of turning her into a Fighter and that was a bad move. Should've made her into a Strider with a Rusted Bow.
Go to change your vocation and hit page down, same way you set pawn skills.

NG+ doesn't increase difficulty, at all.

ng+ doesnt ramp up the difficulty at all. youre just awful at this game.
So, uh, just got this a few days ago. A question what level do you guys usually take on the the [sp]Drake in Devilfire Grove[/sp]? I managed to clutch the entire thing at level 21 but it took everything I had and more.
you're not really supposed to fight it tbh, at least not when you first encounter it
good job killing it though
i usually save most drakes until mid-50s, roughly, depending on my gear.
It took like a solid hour (or more), but hey, my Scalding Razors got Dragonforged.
Where can I buy anti petrification stuff? So far this is the only thing that kills me in the DLC area.

The curative vendor in the center of Gran Soren should sell Secret Softner, it's good thing to stock up on since petrification is probably the worst debilitation
First time playing this game, got Fournival as my [sp]beloved. He jumped me after Grigori[/sp]. Fucking what?
Now when I read up on this whole beloved thing on the wiki I wish I knew this beforehand.

He's pretty great to have, because it gives easier access to him and he useful stuff.

Yep, otherwise you have to wait til mid-day to actually do dealing with him since you'll be [sp]attacked in the Noble Quarter.[/sp]
I'm only level 30 right now but you guys have talked a lot about [sp]Bitterblack Isle and the Everfall[/sp] and I just wanted to know which to go to first and at what levels ideally? I'm assuming I can do either without accidentally going into NG+?
I'm only level 30 right now but you guys have talked a lot about [sp]Bitterblack Isle and the Everfall[/sp] and I just wanted to know which to go to first and at what levels ideally? I'm assuming I can do either without accidentally going into NG+?
[sp]Everfall is part of the story. You permanently start the (real) end of the game when you complete the 20 wakestones quest. Bitterblack is always available, but I think people have said 60 is a good level if you want a challenge and 100 is comfortable[/sp]

[sp]Everfall after your defeated the dragon, then grind some good gear and levels. Start the DLC area at level 60 if you feel doing it earl, but prepare for lot'sa damage. To start ng+ you need to deliver 20 wakestones.[/sp]
So whats the deal with rusted weapons? I see a lot of people posting about em on here what makes them good?
They inflict poison and torpor, especially the latter is extremely useful as it considerably slows down most enemies and bosses
They inflict poison and torpor, especially the latter is extremely useful as it considerably slows down most enemies and bosses
Then is it recommended to have a pawn with, let's say rusted bow and normal daggers?
Also Grace soon.
Yeah that's how I set up my strider pawn and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to upgrade the bow first as the stock one doesn't do anything. Eventually when you get it golden dragonforged it does 1/3 the damage of high tier bows, which is not bad at all considering the utility it gives
Set the bow skills of your pawn to fivefold flurry and downpour volley to have the highest chance to proc it (leave the third slot empty) and I recommend scather as primary inclination
I goddamn hate cockatrices and anything else that petrifies my braindead pawns. I must have missed it, where can I buy petrification curing potions?
