Just noticed if you leave the game running one of your pawns will walk up to you and wave their hand in your face, as if you're zoning out

Rank 4381 here. No kawaii loli, no silk lingerie.
Question about the DLC area. [sp]Death appeared now around 2 to 3 times for me at random. That guy does not take any damage, I take it that is normal?[/sp]

At what level do people usually go to Bitterblack Isle? I'm level 80 as a Warrior right now and after killing the Dark Bishop, I can't tell if I'm either dealing shit damage or if enemies are just that strong.
I do BBI at around 60-80. The enemies do take quite a bit of damage, but if you were able to beat the dark bishop I'd say you're doing ok. BBI also isn't the friendliest place for warriors.
Yeah I can tell. The Gazer in particular was a sore to fight. Also I've resorted to just run from Elder Ogres when they appear. Fuck those things. Their dropkick attack can one-hit kill me.
I always recommend having exodus slash for a warrior vocation since the warrior doesn't have many defensive options. If you're good with timing, you can dodge attacks like the dropkick.

Just stand still there til he comes down then go to town on him. For whatever reason he has a really tiny area he'll fight in, and it you leave it he'll go off and soak in the sea.
Well i killed the Dergan on my Magick Archer, it was actually a much harder fight than on my Warrior on 360 because i couldn't just use Arc to wipe four bars a hit.
are ferocity and bastion worth anything as augments later on?
are ferocity and bastion worth anything as augments later on?
yes they stack multiplicatively ferocity = 10% bonus clout = 20% bonus ferocity + clout = 32% bonus [editline]27th January 2016[/editline]
I always recommend having exodus slash for a warrior vocation since the warrior doesn't have many defensive options. If you're good with timing, you can dodge attacks like the dropkick.
Full moon slash has a similar I-frame effect, and both of them act like counters, for certain enemy attacks they're much more likely to counter the attack and cause a stumble than any other attack (for example, if a cockatrice nosedives you and you do an exodus slash, you'll knock it down instantly mid-attack) You still have to hit high enough damage values to pull it off (so a level 10 warrior won't be knocking cockatrices out of the sky) but it's a useful tactic.
Is it bad to switch to Magick Archer after playing as Warrior for 116 levels? Seems like I can't even damage most of stuff past Duskmoon Tower.
Is it bad to switch to Magick Archer after playing as Warrior for 116 levels? If you're feeling like your not doing enough damage, look into upgrading them or trying to get yourself a replacement. Also see if what you're fighting has a special elemental resistance or weakness to fight against them. I did switch to warrior for a bit after mostly being a Assassin/Magic Knight that Warrior seemed to be underpowered.

Okay, whose idea was it to make the voice testing in character customization only the grunts? Would it have killed them to include "Yes, Arisen" and such? Because I used the Art of Metamorphosis thing to change how my pawn looked, because in-game she didn't look as nice as I thought. I also wanted to give her a bit of a different voice, because it seems like half the female pawns have the same voice. So I tried for going one that seemed just a little deeper. And now, while she looks much better, it sounds like she's trying to sound like a man.
If you cycle through facial expressions you actually get a voice line. That helped me pick a not weird sounding voice for my buff amazon pawn striderfu.
The hairdresser can change your voice Don't ask how, just accept it.
Slit your throat open with a straight razor and just replace the voice box :v:

The 4th facial expression is a voice line "Steel yourself for combat."
Heck, I really need to find more mage robes, still stuck on the magician surcoat.

Though on one occasion I summoned a pretty standard looking lady just to discover she had the helium pitched voice, which was great.
Do you get to change your names with the Art? Also i'm gonna have to work on other Vocations, Magick Archer augments are mostly worthless, so fun stuff i guess.
daimon's pawnkilling vortex move is pretty lame, it seems unavoidable since pawn ai is stupid/unreliable when you tell them to follow you
[sp]you need to grab onto him and attack his chest and it'll stumble him, cancelling it.[/sp] pretty lame move though.
daimon's pawnkilling vortex move is pretty lame, it seems unavoidable since pawn ai is stupid/unreliable when you tell them to follow you
In my opinion ALL of the pawn killing moves are stupid. Like I'm fine with one-shot KO's, but is a dragon going "oogie boogie" at me really enough to kill my party?
In my opinion ALL of the pawn killing moves are stupid. [sp]Dragons and dragonkin are previous arisens who didn't succeed. So a dragon roaring, and killing your pawns is literally screaming 'DIE' and the pawns are obliging.[/sp]
Its still stupid cheap at times though. Fighting 3 greater wyrmkin with their skill stifling and pawn insta-kill shouts is such bullshit God help you if they spam it too :why:
