Someone just made a mod to replace the English VO with the Japanese ones, works pretty well.

Just wish I can figure out how to keep Grigori's voice in English.
Am I wrong in thinking that the MA is the most OP vocation in the game? Going through BBI on hard and all I have to do is shoot a few ricochet hunter bolts around and everything dies. Just killed an eliminator, a bunch of goblins, and an elder ogre in about 15 seconds by doing that.

I dunno, i feel like right now it's fairly balanced, especially in relatively open spaces. What would make it slightly OP (and a lot better) is if it had better stat growth and if boons effected your bow abilities, cause in my experience it doesn't seem like they do. Strider with Blast Arrows and MKs reign supreme right now imo.
It's ridiculous how broken this is. It's so much more effective than any other vocation.

I've actually never bothered with blast arrows before. I'll have to try those out.

Ricochet Hunter specifically is broken as fuck when you are in enclosed spaces. Mostly useless when you aren't, but most of BBI is at least relatively close quarters so it's really strong for most of it.
Other MA abilities are mostly fine.

Get the magick bowman's band and 3shot condemned gorecyclops with ninefold bolt.
Or stunlock everything with explosive volley. Oh and great ward arrow is hands down best support magic.
Hybrid vocations are much more stronger than than others. Assassin kicks everything in vanilla, MA and MK melt stuff in BBI.
So has anyone else noticed that the musculature slider is glitched? If you choose any musculature except for the leftmost one, when you get in-game or re-edit your character it uses the texture one tick before it.
I haven't quite beaten the game yet, but so far it really feels like the dragon (and the plot for that matter) is just way too absent. Like, he shows up at the beginning and attacks the little shitvillage, doesn't really do any damage, steals my heart (which as far as anyone can tell doesn't really seem to affect shit), and then he just fucks off for the rest of the game, presumably until the final quest.
Meanwhile there's all this panic about the dragon appearing and shit, but it's not really doing anything at all. And we aren't really doing anything to prepare or prevent the dragon's eventual attack, either, I'm mostly just dealing with this cult whose end goals and motivations I know fuck all about.
Grigori's voice is like butter to my ears. Especially when [sp]He basically says don't come looking for me until you're strong enough or you die like everyone else. It's like the ultimate taunt, big giant dragon looking down at you and calling you a scrub. But I do understand why he acts that way.[/sp]
Grigori's voice is so...undragony but by god do i love it and does it work.
So i'm diving into Buttblasted Isle for the first time ever, cheesed the shit out of a giant Cyclops by standing above it and Sixfolding its face off, also used a Veteran's Periapt right before it died and gained two levels for it. Currently working my way through some sewers after killing an Elder Ogre.
Already asked on the community but will do it again here. Is there a demo or something like that? I wanna make sure I can run the game fine before buying it, yes I know I could try the "yarrr" version before buying but would like to know if there's a LEGAL way to do it.

If you play less than 2 hours and don't wait 2 weeks, you can just refund it on steam.

Killed my first Condemned Gorecyclops today.
I feel it. I'm ready for Bitterblack Isle now.
Okay this just keeps bothering me, I have to know
What the hell is a dangan?
I just beat Daimon.
3rd try. Didn't even see his 2nd form. I just clung to his face and Kissed, and he never tried to remove me. Even got stunned instantly doing the void. Only buff I had was holy daggers, and here I thought I wasnt ready at level 70. RIP

Oh wow, After a drought of Pawn hiring, I come back after a couple days to 200k worth of rift crystals.
The Ur-Dragon was defeated recently, do pawns get a load of crystals for being a part of a kill?
What's a good way to keep track of Ur-dragon grace periods?

open the discussion for the current gen on the steam forums, set page post limit to 50 or whatever the highest is, use the extension auto refresh plus and set the page monitor text to #grace
I absolutely love the endgame credits.

Just watched [sp]Grigori[/sp] lose about 4 health bars at once to a pawn using greater maelstrom on his weakspot. 10/10 would hire again.
The first time through the game, I knew about the whole "beloved" thing, but I didn't know when it triggered. I wanted it to be Selene.
It ended up being Quina. 3rd or 4th choice, not bad, but still.
I was actually off by just a hair, as just before the trigger, I talked to Selene [sp]because she was in my house[/sp], but Quina was also there, and since Quina was closer to the door, I talked to her on my way out.
I went through the game again on hard mode. This time, I knew what I was doing. I gave Selene [sp]the Arisen Bond[/sp], and talked to her and gave her random presents right before I started the trigger.
but
Between that and the trigger, I remembered "oh yeah, there's an escort quest I read about while reading the wiki, I'll do that first".
And I didn't realize that that counted as "talking to last".
So when [sp]I confronted Grigori[/sp], who else do I see but Fabio - I mean Julien - [sp]prancing around running away from goblins like a dainty little princess[/sp]. The guy who's [sp]only alive because I wanted his shield.[/sp]
yay escort quests, woo

Level 28 and you've completed the game? M8, what dafuq?
Support pawn? Or is that the same as main pawn in the credits? I haven't even watched the credits, I just skip them.

That's a funny way to spell Caxton.

That's pretty average if you skip most of the side quests.
