If you have multiple people with maxed affinity your romance will be the last one you talked to before the Deny Salvation quest.
Super happy with the port just wish they added a quicksave.

Or save slots. I know its part of the charm but the checkpoint thing is so frustrating when the game fucks you over with pawns being stupid and killing themselves and then immediate autosaves.

There's a quicksave in the pause menu.
Been a while but it's Select on the dpad, T on keyboard I think

I wish autosave actually saved after I did 3 hours worth of gameplay, got sniped by a drake breathing fire on me, died and got sent back to an autosave all the way back at Cassardis when I died near Shadow Fort. Can't wait to do all that shit again.

This. I know its part of the game that you're supposed to change classes and diversify, but the way I like playing is focusing on one class. I also just want to try other things without messing anything up on my main character.
Well, in my quest to max out all the Vocations, i've somehow gained five levels and 200k disp out of the 75 per kill experience Guards give me, with two Vocations to go. Amazing. Now i just need a good gold farming strat.

The less exp you get, the more dp you get. The guards are a well known method for farming vocations because of this.

Yeah, i just didn't figure i'd get so many regular levels out of it.

Could you decrease the amount of XP you get by hiring higher level pawns?

Everfall. [sp]Ur-Dragon drops about 20 wakestones. They sell for 30k each, 35k with suasion augment. Other bosses often drop wakestones, too.[/sp]

Two pawns that are 25 levels above you will reduce your xp by 50%, so yes.

Doesn't suasion stack? In which case for such a farming strategy it would be worthwhile to find some pawns that have it as well.
I also heard that due to some glitch pawns will never use the spell grand bolide. Can anyone here confirm that and if so is there anything I can do about it?
[QUOTE=Murky42;49662346]Doesn't suasion stack? In which case for such a farming strategy it would be worthwhile to find some pawns that have it as well.[/QUOTE]
Yep, although you'd have to try and find two other pawns with both suasion and a decent skill set, unless you're confident in your ability to solo it. The weapons you get from it are also good money, Ascalon sells for about 600k with one suasion augment.

Well couldn't you just box all the wakestones and then sell them in bulk. This way you can use proper combat pawns and then roll in to town later with the merchant squad in tow sell off the goods.
Does post-daimon refer to killing him the first time or killing his 2nd form?

First time.

I think I'm gonna start a new game and roll Assassin this time.
I wonder if my main pawn from my current character will stay.
No, Julien, I do not want to gay it up with you. I just wanted your shield for fuck's sake.

How can you say no to that handsome face?
[editline]3rd February 2016[/editline]
Dem goldilocks
And that exotic accent.
I always get weak-knee'd when he says "bleating she-goat"
Man, hard mode is pretty dumb in the beginning. A goblin just one shotted me with a torch.

it is. but the feeling of accomplishment you have once you're able to do fights without taking damage is pretty awesome
[editline]sdf[/editline]
also damn i just want an ascalon at this point. gotten like 4 volant whites and more heaven's keys than i know what to do with, but not a single ascalon
just completely fuck ogres in this game my fucking god, seriously
doesn't help that my pawns go braindead and opt to heal one another the entire fight instead of stunning it with fire
specifically, "yo go kill 3 fuckin' ogres in this shitty mine that's 2 feet wide and allows the ogres to all aggro you simultaneously and absolutely just fuck you up"
[editline]3rd February 2016[/editline]

[QUOTE=teshok;49665390]speaking of that mine what happened to the swordsman/white hawk gear?[/QUOTE]
White Hawk was part of the Berserk set and they were removed from the PC release due to licensing issues.

oh fuck, goddamnit
I didn't even really want the armor to be honest, but the White Hawk pants are some of the only ones in the game that don't look shit.
