oh fuck, goddamnit
I didn't even really want the armor to be honest, but the White Hawk pants are some of the only ones in the game that don't look shit.
it looks like someone stitched a pair of leggings to some lederhosen
Man, hard mode is pretty dumb in the beginning. A goblin just one shotted me with a torch.
Apparently being in any kind of animation nets enemies some counter hit style extra damage. I was picking up some flowers when a wolf zoomed at me from somewhere and did 800 dmg.

Welp, after four sessions, because he bailed with half a health bar left, i killed offline Urdy, it wasn't too bad honestly, at least for a Magick Archer. I forgot how much i loved being a Warrior though.
I find Mystic Knight to be good for the offline ur dragon. Abyssal Anguish can hit several weakpoints multiple times (the front legs are a very good spot, you can hit both leg weakpoints and the chest with one stroke). You can also give yourself a Holy enchantment if you don't have a weapon with it. The only real issues are the weakpoints on the wings, but the cannon is generally good enough to get those ones. If I'm lucky I can get him down to his last bar without any buffs.

Your pawn (in the early game) and tutorial messages say that you take a lot more damage while your weapons are stowed. Additionally, this is why enemies take a lot of damage if you hit them before they notice you and "ready" themselves. As well as why they take so much more damage when pawns hold them.

Also, there is an assassin augment that makes you take less damage with your weapons sheathed, you know, so you don't take 800 damage from a wolf while picking flowers.

Just use a staff and spam holy focused bolts.

Pretty much this idea.
I was able to solo Offline Ur with a lot of the Assassin augment on my Sorcerer with this strategy. That and the occasional giant arch-magick for fun.
So I started NG+ and my Golden Idol Forgery that was on my pawn is no where to be found. Are random items lost during the transition to new game+?

Maybe check the storage? Not sure how it works, can't remember.
All items that were on you and your pawns should be in your storage when you transition into NG+
So I was checking storage and it wasn't there.
It was, however, still in my pawns inventory even though everything else transferred.
I'm guessing my character has annoyingly low health because I've mostly been playing, and levelling up as a Mage, Sorcerer and Mystic Knight, I'm playing as a Warrior now so having low health is annoying.
I'm at Level 66 with under 2,000 Health.

I also made that mistake. I'm level 62 and my health is 1763

With the health boosting augment
If you're that worried about it play warrior for a few levels. That'll ramp up your health quite a bit.

And make use of exodus slash for your dodging. It's pretty much the only defensive move that vocation has.
Keep in mind though, if you play warrior you run the risk of dying of boredom after every encounters, this is not a subjective remark at all whatsoever. Cough.

Could you be any more of a fag?
Warrior is fucking great to play.
You can stagger the absolute fuck out of everything, you get great iframes with exodus slash, along with stagger resist on ALL your skills.
And the jumping heavy attack is crazy strong.

yeah but only 3 skills mang
yeah but only 3 skills mang
You really don't need more than 3 skills as a warrior since each one is great
The only classes to have 6 skills on one weapon is sorcerer and mage, and thats because they really need the extensive tool set otherwise they'd have to rely heavily on focused bolt.

we're not talking about effectiveness whatsoever we're talking about fun
for most people, variety is a large component of fun
3 skills isn't very varied

Dunno bout you but im still able to have fun with just three skills
Each skill is vastly different
I just beat the Dragon and am in Post-game, finally but [sp]good god, I forgot how horrifying the journey is to the Waycastle. Hellhounds SUUUUCK, especially when I am swinging around Inklestinkle (or whatever that weapon is that has a chance to do x7 damage at the expense of 50% more damage taken and stamina drain. The saurians aren't tough, but those fuckin dogs and suckyoubuses are crazy.[/sp]
Sorcerer and Mage only have one weapon, same as Warrior, except the latter only gets to carry 3 skills.
It's kind of a weird decision, really.
My main issue with the warrior is how slow the swinging animation is. Once you initiate the swing, you're locked in place, and one of three things will happen;
a) your ranged/magic pawn will kill the enemy before your sword actually reaches them
b) they'll casually walk outside your effective radius (strider bandits love to do this)
c) the stars align and the enemy actually stays put long enough for you to connect
Obviously I'm being hyperbolic, but I found myself using the warrior's jumping light the most often because it was fast, had a great hitbox and it was reliable. Just jumping and swinging repeatedly. When I felt like staying on the ground? I'd use the exodus slash, because the opening move is much faster than the default swing. So what should swinging a giant ass sword feel like?
I've been reading Berserk again so I'm going to reference it here;

FUCK YEAH holy shit now I want to play warrior except it's nothing like this. When you swing your sword ingame enemies should get inflicted with both torpor and petrification as the giant slab of metal you call your sword bears down on them
[editline]4th February 2016[/editline]
I'd probably just change the opening attack to be faster but not as damaging, then follow up attacks would be more likely to connect due to hitstun. Also make default attacks actually use stamina as a tradeoff for them being fucking awesome.
Maybe change arc of obliteration so that you activate it and it charges as normal, but you can move normally. When you activate it however, you are vulnerable for a while afterwards. Then it wouldn't be an "only use this attack when the enemy is lying on the ground and imminent triumph is playing" attack anymore (exaggerating again)

Not really. Imagine if Mage and Sorcerer could only use 3 skills, it would suck, they would be completely worthless.
Warrior on the other hand is all about offense, having 6 ridiculous offensive skills would make them insane.
I do wish that the initial swing for the light attack was faster, but I feel the the chain you do if you pause after the first attack has a lot of fast swings
[editline]4th February 2016[/editline]
I also find myself using exodus slash a lot but sometimes the back step actually makes me miss
