Graphics "enhancers"
Should I use one?
If your computer can handle it. Also, its often hard to find an enb that fits all the settings of a game. Some places will be way to bright, while others often gets way to dark etc. It's cool for screenshots and stuff, but usually I wouldn't recommend it for just playing the game.
Not to mention people who release configs end up either using excessive bloom + too much vibrance or making everything fullbright-looking because it's ~realistic~. Seemingly everyone uses sharpening despite it looking ass no matter what.
Well if there's one that's recommended overall and is easy to install/uninstall I might give it a try. Is there such an ENB?
Probably not. To be honest, I've never understood the interest in all the ENB's I've seen, coming from Bethesda games they always looked like garbage to me. I'll be honest I haven't looked at any for DD but I can't imagine they're too much better.
I logged back on after a long hiatus to do 2 quests and whatnot, and when to bed expecting "Wow, maybe tons of people used my pawn!" And I got nil. Are gifts temporary in a sense?
Should I use one?
Nah but there is a Reshade setting someone in this thread used that I also used as it looked a hell of a lot better than the base game's visuals. Dropped the shit out of my FPS though at 1440p, had to go down to 1080.
Take comfort in knowing midget pawns are objectively worse than anything else I don't remember the details but although short pawns have benefits, you make them too short and they only gain drawbacks, especially for melee classes since it affects their range
Most of the advantages of being small are best exploited as arisen. There's a few secret areas you can access through being small, plus it shrinks your hitbox so certain bosses are less likely to hit you. Also early game your stamina regen is crazy high, but sadly by BBI it's slow just like everyone else.

I've come across a few but I've never made a small character and didn't feel the need to start anew just for that, so I don't know what's actually in them.

Feels nice though/
being small is like 90% disadvantage I still make my Arisen tiny though. You can't stop me.

Bumping. This game is too great to fall into the GGD everfall. I got this a few days ago after reading this thread, and I'm on NG+ now.
It's also on sale too if anyone was on the fence about buying it for the PC. It's a great port by all accounts.
I got it in the Humble Monthly, it was worth it for that game alone. Even if all the other games are gonna be shit or I already own them it's money well spent. I think that's the cheapest I've seen the PC port, at 12$.
Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but would anyone happen to have a guide on how to set up DDO? As in translation patches etc, thanks in advance
