The one thing Capcom loves more than money is the tears and frustration of its fans. That's why it too years for Megaman 9 and 10 to exist, that's why the Resident Evil 2 remake is teased but never made. Capcom aren't kept in business by money, they're kept in business by feeding off the contempt of people who once liked them.
Don't forget that they allowed this gem [t]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Y8T6lW7Lsn8/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
Dunno, but it's probably the best fan translated game I've ever played, so it's pretty easily playable from the west.
Is it any good? I've never played a muhmorperger before.
Is it any good? I've never played a muhmorperger before.
It's got some issues, ginormous health bars and grinding for days are both definitely present along with somewhat bizarre progression but it's the only MMO I've played where you can cling onto the side of a sphinx while it trashes around stomping on your borderline retarded party members so I give it a pass v:v:v
Where can I get it then? And how to translate the moonrunes?
Don't forget that they allowed this gem [t]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Y8T6lW7Lsn8/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
Which in turn gave us this gold
Where can I get it then? And how to translate the moonrunes?
Information mostly compiled on fan, there's links to reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/dragonsdogmaonline/ I'd recommend vyprvpn (free up to a cap) to vpn into japan over the one they suggest, it worked like garbage for me :v:
Do you still need to use the vpn to start the game or is it only for signup?
You have to use the VPN to login and while playing unless you use an IP mask workaround. Feel free to pm me any questions about setting up, I've been playing for quite a while now and I love it.
Got it preordered, super hyped because i wanted this when it first released, no idea what vocation i'm going to play though.
Do you still need to use the vpn to start the game or is it only for signup?
Unless it's changed since I last played, you can just run this
route add 106.185.74.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1
where you replace 192.168.0.1 with your router IP then anytime after character select you can turn off the vpn.
Got it preordered, super hyped because i wanted this when it first released, no idea what vocation i'm going to play though.
Hope that multiple saves can be a mod, or maybe a tool for it as you can only have one playthrough at a time as far as I know edit: multiple saves so that you can have different vocations for each character, should clarify
You can change vocation whenever you like, there's no real advantage to sticking to one. Switching vocations is a good way of experimenting and it gets you more augments to choose from.
On the subject of vocations, am I the only one who finds the spellcasting vocations absolutely shitty to play as? Spellcasters are usually my absolute favorite thing to play as in most games, but magic just seems almost completely ineffective in this game. Playing as a Strider, with about 150ish strength on my daggers and bow, I've been able to breeze through mostly everything. Then I switch to Sorcerer, get a staff that brings me up to over 300 magic, and I'm suddenly doing way less damage against most targets, and basically no damage against the rest. Like literally maybe 2-3% health off of some random armored bandit per spell
I already bought this once on Xbox 360, and then a second time when I switched to PS3.. Oh well, what's a third time matter for such a good game?

The spells are your main source of damage and the good ones and really fuck up your enemies, but you do have to take elemental resistances into consideration. Many enemies have high resistance to one or two elements while being weak to another one or two. Using ice magic or dark magic on a Hydra will do almost no damage, while fire and holy magic will do quite a lot.
So what's the most fun class in your opinion?

Against other bandits it did okayish damage I guess, but my Strider was way outpacing it against the very same bandits earlier, at a lower level.
So what's the most fun class in your opinion?
I've always really enjoyed Mystic Knight and Warrior. Usually my go-to's.
So what's the most fun class in your opinion?
Discounting the intro sequence, I've only played Mage, Sorcerer, Strider and Ranger so far. Strider was really fun, and Rangers are great, but seem kind of absolutely broken OP. So far I've been able to solo pretty much everything I've come across. Even took out a Cyclops alone, I'm only a few hours into the game.
Armoured bandits have really good elemental defence, it's not a surprise you did less damage than a Strider.
It was less like doing less damage and more like doing none. Sucked hard.
So what's the most fun class in your opinion?
Strider, the most zippy and wily of classes makiing for a great David vs Goliath style experience.
I like Strider with some of the perks of Mystic Knight so I'm not a piece of paper :v:
You can change vocation whenever you like, there's no real advantage to sticking to one. This should really be ignored though if you're trying to have fun (it's quite boring leveling as assassin from 14-200 or whatever just to build a max strength warrior for example), game is easy enough not to do that - only should be done if you want to really break things at level 200.

You might be doing it wrong
So what's the most fun class in your opinion?
Magick Archer.
Magick Archer.
It's kinda tempting to make a behemoth 8ft tall monster
Magic is essential in this game, the boons for your allies and the utility of spells make it important enough, if you're using elemental spells enemies are weak to magic does the most damage in the game... You might be doing it wrong
I avoided buffs since they're the absolute most boring spells in any game, and unlike most other games I can only bring 6 spells with me at any time so I didn't want to waste slots on them. I was going it alone anyway since I wanted to see just how much damage output a Sorcerer has. And I mean, that kind of assumes they have an elemental weakness in the first place, like I said I tried every element against one of these bandits and every single one of them did maybe 2% of his health. And even against other enemies I wasn't doing as much damage as my Strider or Ranger, but now I feel like I'm just repeating myself.
I avoided buffs since they're the absolute most boring spells in any game
So maybe the class just isn't for you? Play as something else and stop whining about it, other people here apparently liked it so I doubt it's that broken.

So how is that in any way relevant
