Yes, their mouths are supposed to move when they speak in their portraits, but for some reason, some heroes don't when I have -override_vpk on. Phantom assassin is a good example of this.

as long as you did NOT type in the command rnd_rebuildaudiocache in the console it should be fine.
however if you typet in that specific command you have to reinstall dota 2.

There's a way to mod the camera location, so you could try for something more dramatic I suppose.

We should be able to create a simple bit of code to define where they go, just like how the green glow can be modified as well.
I'm swamped with real-life animation work right now, but once I have some free time I'm going to dupe his hand over so he has two hands, then I'll work on rigging and skinning it. Excited to see you guys are working on restoring Skeleton King! And I wanna try to help you.
So, I've been looking around the files and such for Wraith King and Skeleton King, which I've found that the Low Violence textures for the Chinese model are within Wraith King's folder now (they originally were in SK's), those would have stayed in Skeleton Kings folder if they didn't want to use them anymore least they should've.
All that lead me to believe that possibly we could make the game load the Low Violence version of Skeleton King over Wraith. However I don't know where the low violence models are, only their textures. But, we could run into the same problems as normal SK, as in cosmetics being broken. Although they would fit better on him since the LV SK is bulky. I believe there might be a command for Low Violence however I'm not sure.
Oh and Wraith's aura would look cool on Armored Skeleton King.

Well, now that I've gotten some more time on my hands, Ive pressed on with the dance of the darude. Sand King is rigged up and ready for animation.

My plan are to actually submit this to the workshop, for the lulz, and if on the slight chance this gets accepts I want to make sure you're on the revenue sharing since you pretty much inspired this little fun project. The submission isnt the point of the the... submission, though. I want to combine the animation with the sandstorm mod as a package that someone can download and install on their own and include that on the link in the submission. If you'd be able to help me with that, that would be awesome!
Hopefully I'll get the animation soon, I can only work on in between projects and its a very busy season. It'll be finished eventually! :D

Oh, neat. You're definitely allowed to combine it with the mod I did for the download if that's what you mean by "I want to combine the animation with the sandstorm mod." I could pack it up for you, although I don't know where exactly the animations go, so you may need to tell me. I'm not sure if I could help you with any animation or model work cause I don't really have experience in those areas. And if you do upload it to the workshop, you can give me whatever percent; doesn't have to be that much. I could also make a new video to showcase on the workshop page, with the default sandstorm sound showing off the animation without the mod, and with the sound mod for those who wish to download it.
I'd suggest not giving a name as obvious as my video if you upload it to the workshop though. Maybe something like "Dance of the Durrah (darude) Kingdom."
On an unrelated note, I've updated that classic Lion mod. I updated his "portraits.txt" to the latest version of the game (probably won't do it anymore), and I corrected the folder for the portrait image being named "material" instead of "materials," which probably messed up the optional portrait installation for those who didn't notice it.

I could get them from old game files, but it probably won't be for a while (cause I'm lazy). Although I'm not quite sure why you'd want it. The texture on it is REALLY bad in comparison to the new puck. It's like if you played as the old earthshaker when you've become used to the new one.

Does anyone knows how and where i can get de arcana model for legion commander? I got the arcana set for 25 bucks at the store but i want the default one also having that blades. Just rename the model and texture files of the blade isnt enough! I need that pose where she stand with her legs weight and shes holding the blades. Does anyone of u know where to find?

They're already in her compiled .mdl, the animations are tied to the cosmetic. You need to decompile her, alter the names of the animations in the .qc to use the arcana animations, and recompile. That should do what you need it to do.

You have to wait till after the wraith night event. Normally you open the console and type in rnd_rebuildaudiocache. But if you do that right now you wil damage dota and there is no other way to fix that so you need to reinstall dota 2 then. So i recommend waiting till frostivus is over.
You don't have to reinstall. Just verify the game data and it fixes it.

Yes normally you have to do that, but because of frostivus that doesnt work anymore. And if you still do it you break the game.

You don't ever have to reinstall. You can verify the cache and it works fine. I've done it like 5 times during frostivus.

What do i need for programs to open animation files and where can i find them? Wanna rename the arcana lc animation to be the default one to finish my legion commander shadow blade mod. I need the default legion commander to do this:

So, for some reason, The voice problem with Necrophos has returned with the sped up and high pitched voice that occured when I originally replaced his new voice with his classic voice, and for some reason, typing that snd_rebuildaudiocache command makes half of my ingame sounds not work, such as the main menu buttons and 90% of the ambient and weapon sounds (only voices and music seems to work). Verifying the game cache fixes this, but makes Necro's voice mess up again.
Anybody know a workaround, or should I just remove Necrophos' old voice and get used to his new fly voice.
snd_rebuildaudiocache has broken since the frostivus update. For some reason it no longer looks in the vpk for sounds. If you really want custom sounds, I think you would have to extract the entirety of the sounds folder and then rebuild the audio cache.

Yes, if you add npc_dota_abyssal_underlord to the list you should be able to.
