I'll mention this though: Since I moved all the sound files, I've noticed some slight loading lag between character select and spawning. I don't know if it has to do with that, or if some update screwed it up because it used to happen to me when I didn't have a whole lot of sound mods, but had a couple of reskins like red silencer and classic lion. Also less portraits seem to not move their mouths to their speech than usual when I have override_vpk on, so I'm not sure if that's related to the sound overhaul or if override_vpk is just getting worse after every update.[/QUOTE] Gotcha. Anyone know how to change hero's names permanently? I changed them in the .txt, but after an update they revert back. Any idea how to make them permanent?

If one particle dosn't work or load they show up and all source games use them. I don't think you can change them

can mods change the ability icons
Will there be an updated version of the texture improvement mod? I don't think there's been an update from blueflytrap on it since the 3 spirits update. Legion commander could use a slightly better texture. I don't know about terrorblade or phoenix though.

Yeah right now I'm waiting till the end of the event to see if they toss up some more hero resources. If not I'll just give you an update with what I have.

I have everything working, including the old portrait, but I don't have the eyes working or his particles that don't give a bunch of red Xs.
