Hey guys here is I mod I made for sniper (new Model). its the normal sniper with normal textures but the only difference is that sniper has the old head item. I'd like to have a dl link to it.
Remove the glow from the body. Heighten the phong exponent a tad. Get some colour gradient and ao onto that. Mess about with the specular. Disable bloom and change the rimlight tint. Oh and adjust that hair. Nobody has hair that lifelessly yellow. Use cm as reference or something.
And change her eyes to be regular like Skywrath's. If it's supposed to make her her normal form again, her eyes wouldn't be glowing, would they?

Me and a couple of friends are really ticked off about how Mirana's skin looks so oily... It seems simple to fix, just find her texture files and change the $surfaceprop to something like skin, correct? Does anyone know where her textures are? Or, VMT's? Or has anyone already done this and I haven't found it yet...

They're pretty important when it comes to not looking awful; like Mirana. The following are unfinished: -detail mask (not really needed) -warp mask (not really needed) -metallic mask (probably needed) -basetint mask (very important) -phongexponent mask (also very important) Nobody has bothered as of yet because we all hoped that one day valve would give her a mildy acceptable model instead. Never did happen.
So then is it possible to do this? I doubt Valve will really do anything about it unless she wins the remodel vote, which I doubt. I don't have much modelling skill at all, I thought it was just the surface of her texture included in the VMT. (If she even has one it seems) Dota 2 uses VMT's don't it? I'm not familiar with shader masks.

Figure it won't be too hard since I often create mask such as those for custom model all the time.
I've been reading up on some other threads and tutorials, and it seems her specular mask is messed up. From the looks of Valves guide, she has no tint specular by color. (Is that what it's called?) If I add some of that, would it work? Or are you suggesting you will work on it? If you'd do it, it'd be much quicker and probably more detailed than me. I'd still like to gain knowledge about this for the future.

I dont have any expirince of how to make the glowing particles go away. And the blond hair im going to do again by using the skin of cm. But apart from that she really sounds weird whit her ghostly voice. And thats something im not messing with.

You have to edit the portrait manually, which isn't very difficult. [url]http://imgur.com/a/gUWhL#0[/url] Just follow the instructions in the gallery.

Does anyone know how to edit Winrunner's teeth? They appear green to me for some reason. I know I shouldn't be bothered by it, but it looks so weird to see her open her mouth while talking and see green teeth.
Ok, so when making the portrait video for the Queen Shendelzare mod I noticed that the textures were using the original and not the modded. Apparently, Valve merged some of the textures for venge breaking the mod. I updated it and included the hero selection portrait video. You can choose the default or the cosmetic wings for skywrath mage and then you copy the model files paste it into the vengeful model folder and rename it to: vengeful_upperbody. This sould work.

I noticed however that the old basemodel was playing the haste animations randomly. I decompiled the model and fixed this issue and recompiled it. Decompilers seem to miss this animation flag that marks the animation to only be played for specific cases. You can fixed them by utilizing the "ActivityModifier" animation flag in the QC.
