Is there anyway to get rid of the really annoying ringing noise in PA's arcana? That shit is getting on my nerves so much.

Help: How do you edit particles in Source Filmmaker? I heard razor's particles are editable there without the particles being messed up.

Yup, start SFM click on the 2nd or 3rd tab i dont remember and click particle editor tool (it works for terrorblade too :))

I made another fix for Old Skeleton King mod. Now it's used for his responses. These who used Arktomys's Old Skeleton King mod noticed that sometimes Skeleton King speaks nothing or speaks wrong phrases (when spawning, moving, etc.). That's because Arktomys did not fixed [B]response_rules_skeleton_king.txt and game_sounds_vo_skeleton_king.txt.[/B] I did it. That was hard because volvo removed skeleton king's info from scenes. I've reverted ALL responses as they was when Skeleton King bones was not buried by volvo by comparing old and new response rules files.
INSTALLATION:
response_rules_skeleton_king.txt goes to dota 2 beta\dota\scripts\talker
game_sounds_vo_skeleton_king.txt goes to dota\scripts\voscripts

I did post a mouth fix for that long ago. The only problem was that he also said some wraith king reponses sometimes. If id known what the name of the response was then id replace it for another sk sound.

You mean rebuilding audio cache that will screw all my dota music and some sounds? It's bad fix.

There is also a fix for the broken audiocache. Just by copieng all the dota sounds and paste them in your dota directory. Then you can install all audio mods.

Pretty sure audiocache also fucks up the faceposing. At least it did for me.

Yep yep I did that too and after than 20-30% of all sounds pitch (basically hero spell sounds) got fucked up

Yes it causes those problems. Because the command rebuildaudiocache first looks at the start options. You problebly have the override_vpk in that. Then because of that he grabs the audiocache from your directory of dota 2. There are no sounds in there to sync. If u put sound in there he will sync only the files that are there.

Im going to make a tutorial very soon. But to fix that trow all dota 2 sounds in your directory then replace the sounds you wanna mod. For instance: the windranger returns>windrunner returns. After doing this you have indeed the high piched sound. Now open dota with console and type in the console: rebuildaudiocache. After doing this everything should work.
hey, override_vpk has been fucking with my client for a while now. stuff like Techies not having a hero icon and their unit having a weird name, same goes for newer heroes and other new content like crates and tournament tickets. Any way i can fix this?

That's where dota store hero names,unit names,and also npc_heroes store what will be loaded by heroes, see if deleting those and verifying your cache works
