Yes he is bluish back then even the icon shows its purple.
I won't attach cosmetics for now. I'll edit the base textures first.

I'm not familiar with particles, so I'm not sure what Alpha is.
I mean to turn down the opacity of it (maybe that's what alpha is), so it looks more transparent.
Initially, I ported the models from the Heroes of the Storm for Source Filmmaker, but they can shove into the game a little bit by changing their files - convert VMT texture file "VertexlitGeneric" to "CustomHero" recompile the model in the QC file prescribe what action is responsible for this animation and then it compile. How I want to see crossovers mods these games - Dota vs HotS, Pudges vs Stiches (pudge war mod) etc. With time I will add new characters creep, mounts, etc.

I have limited time and I'm still not done from Lycan onwards lol :P
I'm also making sure that their mouths move with my textures.
EDIT: Any suggestions for Lycan? The model from WC3 Dota is way different (See Kil'jaeden)

I would recommend skipping heroes that have a completly different design on their models.
And then maybe try figure out something once you're done with all heores.
I'll be posting this here because it may take a long time for me to actually finish it down to cosmetics.

Anyway, here are some suggestions:
Bane look a bit too bright, i mean it's like there's some oil on his skin, look at the portal.
The particle of Alchemist "W" (forgot the name) need some fix, it lookd clumsy. His "Q" gave me alot of fps drop.
The model of Axe pop on Axe's Call seems not good, i mean it's a model of axe standing, when it should be calling, shouting, raging (whatever).
Good job on AA. But somehow his ulti bugged. I used his ulti, some particle shot out, i pressed R again, and it stopped like 1 inch away from where it supposed to stop (sorry for bad English, maybe it was because my damn high ping).
That's all for now, i've just tested 3,4 heroes.
You are the best in my eyes now, ysrael214, even better than Shutnik.

Really? Bane needs to be toned down? I thought I got it right hahaha xD
Yeah, Alchemist's Acid Spray may need a little optimization. Axe will lose cosmetics if I change animations so it's kept like that. Ice Ball is also bugged but I believe there's a pattern on how long you hold the R button for positioning. The main ball is also bugged because the particles need to become larger if the target is far away. Maybe some will be fixed but I'll finish first the entire roster :)
I also want to credit lunarscythe for suggestions (chains) in Bane's Fiends Grip :)
firzen35, are you using Shutnik's Bloom effects? Probably it has something to do with brightness and lags but just maybe.
No, i had removed it long ago.
I also feel the brightness is weird somehow, maybe the video.txt option has something to do with it.
Just found out that Chen will crash in loadout if he has no cosmetic, if he has comestic then he will be blanked in the game.
Anyway, i don't like the way you changed every heroes' skin. Weapons and clothes on some are fine, some are not.
It's still Alpha and buggy so expect crashes. Chen crashes I guess because of the Hand of God particle change. It will get optimization at some point of time. Besides, I'm doing this for Nostalgia too :) I think I get what you mean in what you don't like in my way changing the style haha. Cosmetics will be retextured too in time. You mean like Juggernaut's head?

Sorry i don't like Jugger's head :p It's a mask, not a face, so why should it be red like his skin? (btw i like his skin)
Gyro's texture is perfect, but when i use cosmetics (not the real purchased cosmetic, the modded one), it crashed in loadout.
Maybe you should test chen with modded cosmetic too.
CM's texture is fine.
Alche ulti particle has a bug, you can see some bubbles on top of his head. (usual bug)
Kunkka's particle also has a bug, which is the same as Alche's. But not on his head, it's far away from him.
AA, EShaker, ESpirit, Faceless Void, Huskar, KOTL, Lich's textures are perfect.
Oh you use modded cosmetics ahahha so that's why. I tested Chen with an actual cosmetic :)

By the way, where did you learn about particle editing? It impressed me, alot, for a moment i really thought it was made by Dota2 Staff.
And just for my curious, how do you keep in touch with lunarscythe? Is there any other modding site you and him are on?

Lunarscythe has quit Dota 2 modding, sadly.
Yes lunarscythe has quit the modding business due to internal issues but he can still be contacted at steam sometimes.
I dont know how exactly I learned particle editing. I just started in Black Mesa (as a modder) back then and while you're editing, you will learn something somehow. All I can say is particle editing is trial and errors, copy pastes and customizing :-)

Yeah i tried to edit particle once, and it looked clumsy in the game. :suicide:
But hey, have you heard about Source 2? Will the particle still work on it?
I don't know if valve will port dota 2 to source 2, I mean look at dota2 its huge and will take a long time to port every model and everything. They should probably be doing ricochet 2 at that time lol
But ok seriously though I dont know if it will still work. Lets see when sourde 2 actuallycomes :)
What particles did you do and are you using sfm for it?
