You mean Source Film Maker? I didn't. Actually i don't see any relation between SFM and editing particle. I used particle editor which can be accessed by putting -tools -nop4 in launch option. But the material i chose was not looking good in the game (it looked fine in the particle editor). And there was a weird issue: whatever the direction i chose to fissure, they flew out to a same point, i mean there was like a magnet somewhere in the map, and those rocks and lava i made just headed to it.
Actually sfm has a particle editor too. You can edit particles even not fullscreen there. I use that because dota 2 particle editor cannot access to materials and all it can do is copy paste systems and then edit from there. Dota 2 particle editor I use only for polishing though. If there's some sort of force somewhere, see force generator.you can delete it if you want.
I've given up and deleted the particle already, haha. SFM is too heavy for me anyway (like 8,9 GB isn't it?)

Add something yours. Judge by the image (video's currently unavailable), it's kinda simple. I know you want to make it like the old DotA, but you should also leave your mark on it (i'm not sure if you could understand this, damn my shitty english)

To be hones, I like the light thing the original has. It represents the X and gamma rays a black hole dumps throught his poles (sure thing, they are not visible for us, but still cool...)

Also it can give a creep feeling during nighttime in dota. Right now, it looks like a dark core but still looks good anyway XD

Maybe i am pushing my luck but i would like to ask if anyone have woking red-masked vengeful spirit from alpha (or how to fix textures for one on the mod index - it is checkered pink/black which for source i assume it cant find texture with that name)
