I usually play solo ranked, or at least with one other person. I can't trust my most of my mates to play well.
my experience with ranked so far is everyone is less tryhardy and more absent-minded than in casual for some weird reason lmao

Yeah. While I only just accepted his invite so I don't know what he has figured out, I can at least say that it lets you entirely bypass account login. So they don't need your password at all to access the account and enable features on it or try to change things that aren't the password.

Tbh unless you've got 4 friends who also play the game I don't really see a point to playing ranked. It's like solo queueing in CSGO except you can't mute your cancerous teammates and the mic volume is super low if you have teammates that are actually good.

its actually the opposite, i've met many good people in (mind) eu matchmaking, NA ranked is decent but over 120 ping fucks me up so i dont bother

You can mute your teammates... Solo queue is hit and miss, trust me. When you get into Gold with solo ranked, its not bad. You'll likely be a +1 to a 4 man stack, which is great.

I only play Terrorist unt because I seriously dont have the confidence to play multiplayer, and from what I hear here casual would be just super high ranking people yelling at me for being only level 20 something and not being good enough and ranked would be even worse. I have serious issues with comes to stress and anxiety in games where everything rides on my shoulders and my performance.

I only play casual with and without friends because so far my experience with ranked is getting screamed at for who I picked, what I'm doing and for not seeing a guy who jiggle peaked me.
So yeah, I'll stick to casual, I don't see a point to playing ranked when theres little difference between the two.

Ranked / Competitive in any game are always filled with the most cancerous people to where if you are not 100% consistent or playing the meta depending on the game, then enjoy having people yell at you.
And considering I have died in the past to people shooting me through pinholes or blending in with the surrounding environment, i'd really rather stay in casual.

Level of toxicity rises dramatically when playing ranked. It's 90% of my playtime (casual and t-hunt solo) but I can see a lot of appeal, especially for solo players, in avoiding it.
I'm not 100% how to properly go about this but I haven't played R6 in forever and I'd like to get back into it after Velvet Shell dropped.
I haven't played a lot of PvP in my time, mostly Terrorist Hunt just dicking around with friends but did anyone possibly want to queue up in Casual sometime? I'll admit I suck at this game but I'd feel heck of a lot more comfortable playing with others instead of solo queueing. That and I actually want to get better at the game.

Shitty Ubi servers. I can connect from the UK (after having 30 mins just stuck connecting at the menu getting errors), but my friend from Sweden can't.

that is exactly what casual is. it's always you with a bunch of other low levels + maybe one high rank player versus either the same set up or a premade team that shouldn't be in casual to begin with. you're better off playing ranked since at least people try

i've never really had a problem in ranked. most of the time if you just tell people "hey i'm new" or "hey i'm rusty" they don't give you such a hard time so long as you attempt at being useful even after death. good callouts go a long way

barely encountered anyone toxic compared to other online games I play (plat last season), I don't see why anyone should care if they're getting flamed or not either

I'll add ya I'm on NA servers tho if that's a problem
why can't they add the spawn selection in casual it's soooooo much better than everyone getting the same random spawn and then getting wiped by a bandit or jäger because they were lucky with their guess
What I love about this game is that while I'm not great at aiming, I can just play montagne, casually walk to the point, and describe everything I see to my friend, who can actually aim. Montagne should get assists for each kills near your ping tho.
Also, best montagne hostage strat : extend near the hostage and wait for the c4. I won so many games by myself doing that it's not even funny. Even in gold ranked.
montagne doesnt need aim his bullets homes into your head
