[QUOTE=redBadger;51846759]if you're lucky you'll also get your teammate[/QUOTE] This happened to me yesterday, but from the reverse direction. I placed a cluster charge, and lil thatcher goes to stand next to it. It fucking explodes him and sends his body flying like a spring loaded rocket.
My wish is that Tactical Realism makes it into the normal gamemodes in some sort of way, having it be in Custom Match just means it'll never get played properly. Could just make it a sub category, like Casual Realism or something.

Cause honestly that magazine system? Fuck yeah, why isn't it there by default, heck.

Six Cav's sounds like a lot of fun actually.
They should take a note from For Honor (other Ubisoft mp game) and have a mode where there's 2 times as many operators as there should be. Oh and have killstreak bonuses too.
And a few moments in a match that I was proud of, nothing too special. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/dkkarr.webm[/vid] [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/etrvle.webm[/vid] [editline]21st February 2017[/editline] the fucking recruit GSG9 yells always make me laugh

[QUOTE=loopoo;51851171]Had a round where this guy was dominating it and got an ace. But during killcam, he looked straight up at the ceiling and just spun really fast. It's not like when you spin with your mouse really fast (where it has that brief pause where you lift the mouse up to move it over), he just kept spinning and spinning. Was he aimbotting or is there a technique to doing a continuous spin? [editline]20th February 2017[/editline] The whole server was calling him out saying "What the fuck was that?" and then surprisingly enough, he didn't get more than 2 kills for the rest of the game despite a straight ace in the first round.[/QUOTE] You can do a crazy spin if you swing your mouse and open steam overlay at the same time.
It's nice to see so many bug fixes in a single patch. I'm enjoying the game far more than I used to since I have been playing it lately, my main issue right now is just how many issues you run into just trying to play in a single session. I played like 3 hours with a friend yesterday and over the course of that time I got the infamous stuck in a drone camera about 4 times (So glad that's fixed), crashed to desktop and lost count of the amount of times we got into those 'stuck' lobbies where the game is sitting full or 9/10 for 5 minutes or we are sitting searching for 5 minutes with nothing, cancel and re search and instantly get into a game. It just leaves me thinking about how many more games we could have in a single session if we didn't run into all these issues that shave off a few minutes each time, especially since you can't rejoin or invite friends back into casual games so the entire party has to quit out of a game if one person drops. Also on that note, what is it with anti-aliasing on this game? I have a 970 and all settings on lowest and I run most maps at a steady 150fps, but I decided to change AA because jagged edges are a nightmare on this game I was getting [B]huge[/B] input lag on anything but off/temporal filtering, and it was having a ridiculous impact on FPS (IIRC the 1st option, I think it was 2x MSAA, was dropping my FPS from 150 to 30) Standing still on Consulate, this is what I get at each stage of AA, with every other setting on lowest: Temporal Filtering: 150 Off: 120 MSAA 2x: 85 MSAA 4x: 60 MSAA 8x: 30 TSAA 2x: 80 TSAA 4x: 60 Not to mention having AA on anything but off/temporal filtering adds a noticeable amount of input lag (At 8x it's ridiculous, at a guess I'd say around 100-200ms of input lag). Surely AA shouldn't have this much of a performance impact on this game?

It's just I don't think I have ever seen a game that gets affected so severely by turning up anti-aliasing, more so I don't understand why turning AA on gives at least what appears to be huge input lag for me. Haven't been able to find much about it but it suggests to me there's an issue with the game/their implementation. [editline]19th June 2016[/editline] Didn't really think about the fact that is multisampled AA which would explain why its so intense performance wise. FXAA looks alright when on, T-AA says in the description that its the fastest and most accurate but can produce 'ghosting artifacts'. You don't say, when I turn it on my game looks like a blurry mess.

[QUOTE=Beacon;51853644]I find that having vsync off screws my performance totally, making it unplayable if I want to be decent at the game.[/QUOTE] In what way? I have never really had issues with tearing so I tend to keep vsync off in games, my general experience with it is that having it on either causes bad performance or input lag. I borrowed a 144hz Gsync monitor for a few days a few weeks ago, playing R6 on it was so good. I don't know if I was just having a good few days but I felt like I was playing 10x better than usual on it.

Speaking of, about to break into Plat!
I have a 970 and run the game maxed out without temporal filtering. Plus the 4k textures. I have no input lag.

14.22 gb update what?
[QUOTE=sa2fan;51854979]14.22 gb update what?[/QUOTE] someones got the ultra texture pack
I have the ultra texture pack but my update was "only" 7 GB and change. Also the game takes up a whopping 78 GIGABYTES. The biggest game I have installed on my pc.
I have no fancy texture pack and my update is 2.7gb. [editline]21st February 2017[/editline] I wish I could run a fancy texture pack, but my upper-mid range PC is slowly becoming a lower range PC and I can't afford to upgrade it.

MSAA is crazy expensive due to the way Deffered rendering works, compared to MSAA in forward rendering games. That's why things like FXAA, TXAA, Temporal are all the rage, as they are screen space AA solutions, and much cheaper for deffered renderers. Either way, I prefer either MSAA, or SMAA. I'd rather play the game without anti-aliasing than play with temporal or FXAA.
Is there a side-by-side comparison of Very High and Ultra textures cause I am blind. And it doesn't feel worth it, cause of the extra loading time.
