I bought the ghetto starter edition for this game because I wasn't sure if I would really like it and wanted to play with some friends.
It said it was supposed to come with 600 R6 coin things so I could buy 2 additional ops for free, but they seem to have vanished from my account somehow...
Could this be a server related thing? Or would it be smart to just ask support if they can do something about it?

considering the recent shmuck up with challenges it might be uplay fuffin about but go ahead and ask support about it.
also I would really discourage anyone from buying the starter edition cause it's just not worth the grind, at the very least if you don't like it, on steam you can just refund it.

I bought the starter edition on the idea that there'd be a way to upgrade to the normal game.
No dice, so all base operators are 11500 renown along with a shitty renown rate.
Yea i realized last night i pretty much got scammed, and i dont think i can refund now since ive played over 2 hours lol

Are the original operators not available on the Store to buy as digital content? IIRC they are supposed to be available in R6 credits for around the price of the difference of the standard edition and starter. Did they take it down?

You can buy them using R6 credits but the amount you get is worth like, 2 or 3 if I recall. I used that to buy Kapkan and Tachanka.

You should be able to buy the rest of the operators if you buy more R6 credits, though, I believe there's a bundle specifically for purchasing all the original operators. I believe the price of the starter edition + the price of the operators bundle in R6 credits is close to the price of what you would pay for standard edition of the game, basically. So yesterday I decided to take a closer look at the high resolution of the Year 2 banner to see if there are any clues as to our new operators. Some of the findings look promising, and a couple look discouraging.

Some findings are a Sniper Rifle, an AK-47 Barrel, a G36C Rail (could also be a G36K or G36V with carry handle replaced), and a weapon (or gadget?) that I've been unable to identify. Apparently having 2 barrels and South Korea being a thing, my first guess was K11 Rifle; but it does not match up and neither does the XM29 or ZH-05.

Things that raise doubt though include the fact that none of the operators silhouettes appear to represent Mira, and that one of them has US patches even though US is not an upcoming faction. I haven't been able to identify the "ƒ" looking unit patch, but it's very likely irrelevant anyway.

I asked the Community Manager if there were hints, but wasn't given a definitive answer (that would ruin the fun), so I went and looked at the Year 1 poster for references, and found that Frost, Buck, Blackbeard, and Valkyrie were clearly on it (though Valk has different headgear), but the background had Rook, Pulse, and 2 Generic silhouettes. So in conclusion, it's possible or even likely there's clues, but not everything is a clue. Another Sniper Rifle seems guaranteed due to this very clear shadow combined with that bolt animation bug video. That may mean an AK-47 or a similar variant is confirmed as well, because that shadow is as clear as the Bolt's. I hope the Sniper is on the Defender side, to me it would make sense because the Bolt-Action limitation would serve as a method of keeping the Sniper from getting too aggressive with the peeks, and being on Defender means he won't be stepping on Glaz's toes.

Everyone dropped ranked. There is a bug where the team that lost the ranked match would leave before the match ends, and that would make the winning team not receive any MMR for the victory. It's been there for several days and the fact that Ubi couldn't push a quick hotfix pissed off a lot of people. I just checked the forums and it seems like they're finally fixing it later today, 12pm EST or so.

Basically can fully assume its the Polish Operators which will bring in the bolt action rifle and the AKM as that's what they use.
The rifle is very likely going to be a Sako TRG which is their most used bolt action but I wouldn't rule out a Model 700 either, but that shadow is very TRG shaped with the bipod being folded up.
