I wish Ubi would make huge adjustments to ranked.
-Make ranked matches place players against someone of equal or similar skill/rank. To many times I find out at the end I got placed against a damn platinum or diamond. Then i look at the screen to see my teams rank, mostly low golds or silvers.
-Don't make losing so damn harsh. It is really stupid you de-rank one level just by losing. But if you win you only gain half or less of the points needed to rank up. You can lose for the silliest of reasons, trolling, or just generally bad matches.
-Allow people to join in the middle of matches, it is kinda lame when half the team quits and you're still pitted against a full team.
-Maybe make other incentives for joining ranked matches? Because currently there is really no reason for me to continue to do ranked other then to get my e-pen big and get high ranks to show off. I was a high gold and because I lost a few rounds I de-ranked to silver. Does not matter to me really because I'm still a pretty decent player and enjoy playing most aspects of the game. But I do like ranked because it allows me to learn to play different games but god damn it is punishing if you lose. I got not problem with being punished, but the rewards need to match the punishment in my opinion. I found that because of this ranked can be fairly toxic and when you get some more of the elitist players they're quick to yell at you the whole match because you're not doing it the "pro" way.
Don't even get me started on the placement matches. They are the absolute worst part of ranked

No matter the game, placements are always coin flip on being a good experience or a bad one.
At least it's only 10 games.
Huh, just noticed.
There are only 4 female operators per side, no base defense operators are female either.
Also, I wish they still did operator videos for all of the new ones. It was nice watching the older ones, excluding the Blitz one being really cringy with the dubstep.
Fun fact, IQ uses a shotgun in her video even though she can't even use a shotgun in-game.

This so much, no matter how well you play or how closely pitted the teams are with one another, the instant derank is real for me at least.
I've gone from gold 3 to silver 4 then back to silver 1 then to silver 3 then to gold 2, this season and last season it seemed a bit more stable. As for this season, it's mainly because I pretty much instantly lose the rank as soon as I lose one game, regardless of the opponent's ranks or how well the team did within the game.
From my own experiences, having a rather close game that rolls into overtime still nets the same MMR loss as getting steamrolled, makes absolutely no sense to me.
So I'm thinking of playing Siege more.
Can someone sum up changes since the SFG came out?

I'm lucky to get a hipfire [I]hit[/I] from 5 feet away. Sometimes I use shields in Terrorist Hunt just to do something different, and I can be 5 feet from an enemy and still dump the whole magazine for the kill. It's better to just punch them.

Barb wire is definitely the best tool in the entire game.
Won a round of hostage, 1v1 and I just hid in a corner letting the timer run out. The twitch could not effectively get the shot on me and had to either kill me or grab the hostage, and the hostage was surrounded by barb wire. Had she taken one more step she prob would have killed me, but the barb wire really saved the day. A millisecond longer and I prob would have been dead.

Barbed Wire is fantastic for hiding my Welcome Mats.

Even shotguns don't need laser sights. Unless you're a shield, laser sights only get you killed.
