I think I'm done playing ranked without a near-full stack. The frustration of zero communication in 99% of matches and absolute morons somehow still being present in my Gold I/Plat III matches is unbearable.

They are considerate to the picture viewer. :v: [T]http://orig13.deviantart.net/66c6/f/2017/078/8/a/booby_trapped_land_by_maniac_kagesenshi-db2vtup.jpg[/T]
Also if someone wants them on avatar I can post clean version of the two with no background
All the games i've been tossed into tonight have been horrible. This last batch it was 4 on 2 in our favor but my team all collectively had aneurysms and died, leaving me to get ganged up on.
Kapkan isn't gonna catch people in high levels, but Frost mats work quite often if you hold the room to the final 30 seconds. Once it gets to that range people get jumpy and wanna rush.

Get a low as you can on a door and place a trap, build a barricade but break it twice so it gives people the option to Vault. When they are trying to be quick, they will vault through and blow up. For Frost, place shields in doorways and place the mat as close to the shield as you can, works the same as Kapkan's trick.
I usually bury Mats in barbed wire or hide them around taller gadgets like Jammers.

The most success I had with Kapkan so far is to place his traps on really bright maps and cover it up with barb wire, making it almost invisible, or placing them in really unpredictable places farther from the objective, such as windows from a different floor of the objective, since there's usually 1 player going to attempt to rush on a completely different direction from their team and not expecting a trap being in place. Another effective way I found to use Frost's traps is to place them just next to a doorway, since some players would try to peek corners after getting through a barricaded doorway, and they usually back up or go sideways and step on the mat.

So many people forget to check for traps. I've seen a guy get downed before and crawl to a doorway with a Trap and cover the laser. Someone came to teabag / stab and just blew them both up.

Anybody else had this?
Speaking of this, I've seen using a Kapkap trap and deployable shield not work because they go right above the trap. placing the trap at the lowest possible position can result in the trap not triggering if there is a shield or if they vault over a partially broken door, cause if they hold forward and vault, they just jump right over it. so just place it slightly higher so their toe at least clips the laser

I'll upload a video of it.

I just picked Frost up though and I agree with the tactic for that - I always thought it was silly placing them in the most obvious places, if you put them in locations so people wanting to get inside and clear out a room walk into them its far harder to deal with them. Also if you are putting them behind a barricade or window, its probably better to put them slightly to the left or right so if they decide to hip fire down there is a chance they will miss but still clip the side of the trap.
Biggest error people make is not placing the trap as low as it can go
I have this weird issue with only siege. In any Voip teamspeak, discord. My ping spikes to around 3000ms in any server and prevents me from hear or responding to anyone. I can't find anything online about it.
I have the same thing, but it doesn't seem to actually be an issue - while ingame and in a discord voice channel I get bad-medium (red-orange) signal, but the functionality doesn't seem to be impaired.

I've done it a few times and I've seen Thomi do it.
From my personal experience this allows the vaulter to actually go over the trap. I've done it a few times and I've seen Thomi do it.
I've attempted it, people just destroy the barricade then run through anyway.

Just played with the two absolute worst players I've ever seen. 2-2 in casual, lots of people left so its us 3 against their 4 on Yacht. I've got fuse because the last game Frost and Kap just laid on the bomb objectives in the lowest floor and I was able to just Fuze them to death. Scrub 1 (rank something, silver 3) picks Hibana and Scrub 2 (14, unranked) picks Twitch. Bomb happens to be in the same spot, yay me, I'm sure they're gonna do the same thing so this should be an easy win. Even better! Their Rook for some reason walks outside and it just teabagging, committing Sudoku or something, so we go to take him out. So I've almost got a shot and fucking Hibana starts blasting behind me, hitting me to 1hp without even killing the clearly exposed guy. I'm pissed but I manage to kill Rook. Then I go in the door Rook opened to get out and Cav is sitting there, so I light her up to within 10hp because she one shots me because I'm at fucking 1hp. Cue cringiest spectating ever. Hib manages to finish off Cav and they make their way to the obj. At this point Twitch starts to drone down the hallway all the way to the two bombs where lo and behold, Mute and Frost are sitting in each bomb site, completely walled off, knowing nothing. Twitch's drone approaches a mute jammer and what does he do? Drives right into it and fucking jams himself. Great. Alone now, he makes his way up to a shield, look behind it and sees a frost trap. What does he do? Rather than shoot it, he walks into it. Now Twitch is down and Hib is coming up. Rather than checking any other corners, she just straight picks up Twitch, luckily not dying in the process. Meanwhile Frost and Mute are completely unaware of what is going on. Twitch now merrily and lazily starts to bash open the door (after hib shoots her drone instead of the jammer) and gets lit up. Now it's just Hib, who happily crosses the other doorway (back towards where Twitch just died) and steps into a Frost trap. I damn near threw my controller. [editline]20th March 2017[/editline] Also messaged Hib asking what the fuck and he replied "ikr XDDD"
Why Hibana talking in Chinese tho.
The flag on the side looks like Canada, so my guess is that Frost is speaking.
Why Hibana talking in Chinese tho.
if it's from R6G, then it's probably frost since there's a lot of frost/kapkan shipping
if it's from R6G, then it's probably frost since there's a lot of frost/kapkan shipping
What do you mean R6G - I drew/posted it. It's Frost + all the Spetsnaz operatives. (Kapkan isn't wearing his hood and Tachanka took off his helmet. [editline]21st March 2017[/editline] hell, you can even see my signature on ps4 ffs :v: [editline]21st March 2017[/editline] Besides if it was Hibana I would've written something like "お前ら、何してるの?" instead of "你们在做什么"
