Alright just picked up Siege, pubbing any good in this game? I only played it during a free weekend and everybody was shit.

I always wait until Montagne backs himself into a corner and pisses me off. So I toss a nest at him, detonate, and spam crouch in front of his face until he dies or he drops extension then blow his brains out.
Spent all of yesterday playing the game. Super fun but so far I've only been playing terrorist hunt. I've managed to get most of the operators and upgrade some of their guns. :D

Just bought this game and holy crap it's like cs:go but with more diversity and strategy. The people are generally not really talkative though, would be really cool to have a proper game with you guys.

When playing shield ops, always have a laser on the pistol, you're gimping yourself if you don't.
Also always remember, distance is your strongest advantage with a shield, getting up close especially when crouching does allow them to see over the top of the shield, and vice versa crouch at distance so they can't as easily nail your feet.
Additionally, keep in mind the netcode is absolute wank when it comes to the direction you're looking at, if someone rushes you to get around your shield, [B]do really big ass turns, even turn past them.[/B] This causes your world model to actually face them thanks to how bad the lag compensation is which is always running regardless of your latency.

thats a very 'noob' question because jaeger and bandit are literally the best chars in the game really :v:
mobility is everything in this game and they are extremely fast. also in bandit's case he can deny reinforced walls and his smg is extremely good
4 real, bandit and jager especially because they're the few defenders that get acogs on their guns. that plus 3 speed 1 armor is prime material for roaming and spawn peeking

In Jager's case this motherfucker has a rifle with an ACOG and he can just pop down his ADSes in reasonable positions and fuck off to find a roamer hiding spot.
I finally unlocked Mira and I really like her Vector.

I keep forgetting that Jager is the only defense operator who has a rifle instead of an SMG as their primary, even though its a carbine it makes a massive difference when it comes to roaming.
Also something else to add, pretty much all the german operators are nutcases, specially Bandit, guys a damn psychopath when you look at his background. :v:
I hate Jager mainly because the people who pick him always spawn peak

All the operators are basically dead inside or broken/troubled people. Kinda sad really.

K, managed to unlock most of the operators and each operator has at least some unlocks for their primary and secondary weapons. Went back and checked my stats, you guys might be onto something. Even though i've only used jagr for a few rounds i've got the highest KD ratio (2.7) with him. My most played and fairly successful operators are the russian operators (fuze is such a bae) and i found out I'm utterly shit with the navy seals, canadian and japanese operators... :(
Also, why is matchmaking so shit? Every other game it's a 5 man stack of level ~180 players against 5 random level 20 players.
There is no matchmaking in casual, the game throws together the first 10 people it finds.
I like playing Valkyrie and found it useful to watch pro matches and keep an eye out for camera placement (hurrrr pun), like the trees on chalet, lampposts on kanal, building opposite piano corner window on Cafe. I also ran around maps in custom games finding good spots. Buck is great on maps that have lots of breakable walls and floors (coastline, Bartlett, consulate, not yacht), shotgun the floor above objectives and get some shots off on defenders. I like to place Frost traps at the tops of stairs, behind metal barriers, around corners, in doorways; always in places away from the objective though, since attackers are less likely to pay attention to the floor in random areas. Hibana is probably my favorite operator although her gadget is so glitchy I cry every time I use it. I tend to place the charges in an upside down L shape so we can both vault through and use the hole to peek, but I've seen pros go for a V pattern at head level instead. Keep an eye out for Mira windows, aligning an xkairos charge directly under the window will make a hole big enough to vault through. I only bother with Echo on defuse, his gadget isn't as strong anywhere else (attackers can't plant the defuser while stunned).
