You can get flashbangs that detonate multiple times so what if that's Dazzler's ability?

That would be kind of neat. Especially if the blast bounces the grenade around a room so you can flash a bigger area and the effect lasts for longer the more times you get flashed.

Leaked file names for gadgets. Looks like I might have been right about Dazzler getting a multi-bang.

Does Hong Kong even use the QBZ-95? That seems like a PRC (mainland China) weapon.
[edit]
Same with the JS 9 mm SMG, which is also used by mainland China.
Time for the holy trinity of Bandit, Caltrop and Frost to make floors the deadliest enemy in the game, then.
As an attacker I'll be sure to bring frags, because I'll be Killing Floors.
Caltrop mine? Cloaking? Possibly invisible mines? Sounds good.
Also, the other gadgets names - proximity detector and ricochet shield, I wonder what's up with that.
Does Hong Kong even use the QBZ-95? That seems like a PRC (mainland China) weapon.
Nope, and a guy from Hong Kong on reddit was extremely adamant about them not having Chinese weapons. Apparently people in Hong Kong hate China because they feel they were forcibly brought under Chinese control.
Can't really blame Ubisoft for trying to add more weapon diversity, but I still feel like they shoulda went with the actual weapons they use.
Can't really blame Ubisoft for trying to add more weapon diversity, but I still feel like they shoulda went with the actual weapons they use.
I agree, but it's way too late for that. Many of the operators in the game use weapons their CTU doesn't.

If they did this everyone would be using MP5s and most of them would be using M4s
If SDU uses QBZ it probably would trigger a lot of people from HK unless his backstory is that he's a transfer operator from the PLA or smth
Can't really blame Ubisoft for trying to add more weapon diversity, but I still feel like they shoulda went with the actual weapons they use.
If they want to diversify, they should pick more diverse CTU's. Year 3 could be Israelis, more Russians (USA has 2!), Chinese, and Ukraine, for example. Israel makes their own guns, but also is interesting because they still deploy older weapons like M1 Carbines, Russia and Ukraine would be good because Eastern weaponry is barely touched in the game, and Chinese because they also have a variety of weapons to choose from.

Not only that, but they don't do it when it would make sense. For example, MP5/10 was made special order for the FBI and is the only submachine gun used by FBI SWAT and FBI HRT. It's discontinued now, but the FBI has several thousand in service and HK will still continue to provide replacement parts.

Im triggered by the fact that they dont have MP5/10's and that they dont wear Sage Green/OD gear and uniforms.
Or M4s. They're the most obvious choice to give M4s and instead they get a SIG 556 (???)

I can't think of how Caltrop would be implemented though, would they just be fancier barbed wire?
Prolly defensive, a barb wire that you can't walk through and have to destroy first?
probably barbed wire that hurts to walk through, so basically shock wire but doesn't need bandit to do
probably barbed wire that hurts to walk through, so basically shock wire but doesn't need bandit to do
What if you could stack a battery on top of that for extra torture
What if you could stack a battery on top of that for extra torture
Or deploy it on top of barbed wire with a battery in it, covering up a welcome-mat, under a window with an EDD in it.
With 3 C4 above the doorframe
And a nest of beauties in place
Man, I'm so fucking pissed right now - 1v3, I'm playing as Montagne and am spamming the P9 through Consulate balcony window to destroy a Frost trap; hit R, nothing happens because I have 7 bullets left in the mag and none in reserve. Frost peeks, thinking I'm deployed, one shot, one headshot. UMP shots hit my shield, I ADS and preaim the angle to my left that leads into...bathrooms? Pulse peeks, second shot, second headshot. I know Jaeger ran that way earlier in the round so I keep holding; he peeks, third shot, third headshot. I hit Alt-F10 to save the shadowplay clip because you know I want those 's. The Geforce overlay pops up and says "Shadowplay not available right now". Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Prolly defensive, a barb wire that you can't walk through and have to destroy first?
I'd sooner believe you can't destroy it at all. I mean, caltrops aren't exactly a big bundle of wires, they're small stabby little shits.
Wouldn't it be cool if you could booby trap props
Hide the bomb inside a vase and it explode when someone breaks it
Seriously, how do I git gud? I'd estimate 60 of my 67 hours in game are spent in spectator mode because I always die quickly to some bullshit.
Learn where enemies are likely to be, where you can get peeked from as an attacker, what's a safe place to hold an objective from as a defender, things like that. Really, you just need more time in the game. I'm at close to 200h and I still don't know how to play some maps.
Yeah, there's so many components to each map, I'm still trying to remember all the possible angles and stuff, doesn't help that walls/hatches can be broken down to create even more angles.
don't forget weird map tricks like on Border how you can flick grenades through the top of the mosque looking thing and straight into an objective room
i was playing buck on plane the other day and the defending team was in a room and both hallways leading to it were boarded up. we shot a hole in one of the barricades and i cooked and threw a grenade towards the hole in the barricade. the grenade bounced off the hole in the barricade and flew further into the room and i got a kill with it. it was so fucking glorious, i live for moments like this in the game
[t]http://i.imgur.com/6tBELUy.png[/t]
What if there was a defender that sabotaged walls. If you try to melee through them or shoot through them it triggers it and exploded outward towards the person hitting the wall. It wouldnt be reinforced though so you could still destroy it with a breaching charge, and that would destroy the trap.
