There's a bundle in the store with all the year one characters. It's just not a dlc anymore.
Supposedly if you pay cash to unlock all the basic operators when you have the starter edition, it comes to around the same price as standard. I don't know what the operators cost, though.

i activated one a few weeks after Y2 came out and it worked fine (plus the r6 credit bonus for having both kicked in) but i doubt you'll be able to find any more in the wild to test that these days
It'd probably still be cheaper just to wait for a sale and just buy the full game again instead of buying the ops outright

Something was fucky with my drivers and my graphics card wasn't being detected. Other games weren't launching either. Fixed it by clean reinstalling my graphics drivers.

no you can totally activate it. i bought the year 1 pass on amazon while it was still in stock, after it had been discontinued
Uh if you bought the starter edition and regret it just buy some Siege bucks and buy all the base ops with cash. Yeah, it's more money than a sale price by far, but it's better than being screwed.
My friend was impatient and he bought the starter edition, I still enjoy playing with him but honestly having a limited roster of operators really drag the team behind

Attack recruit is my jam too but Defense recruit having one less reinforced wall is pretty crippling
Just look up any random renown farming hacks on Youtube. I can give a few pointers over PM but won't bring up this thing again. I would like to point that I am of very strong opinion that games should not lock you out of potential characters which you have to grind/buy, especially for people who cannot invest into constantly playing the game.

We got what we were promised from season 1. It makes sense to me since they chose to roll with a second season after the success of the game post launch. Imo its not scummy at all.

Considering I bought the game for $60 when it came out, paid $30 after a few months when the first operators came out, and another $30 just recently for the second season, and considering I'm still playing the game, I definitely think I've gotten more than my moneys worth with Siege.
I bought it on sale & I don't regret it, but I'm hard pressed to invest any more in it when it takes a year to find a casual game / twice as long to find a ranked game and I always have 150+ ping.
Is the game dead for anyone else? Or do I just need to play when the east-coast is also awake?
I usually find 4 or 5 teammates instantly when playing casual, though I'm in Europe atm. Playing in the eastern US was similar iirc.

the matchmaking is just broken in this game. siege is literally the 10th most currently played game right now on steam but it's completely possible for it take upwards of 5-10 minutes to find a match. between not being able to find teammates, or not being able to find an enemy team to play against. there's no other explanation, it's broken.
idk if this is some kind of bug, but for some reason all my first person view models have really bad quality, yet my settings are as high as they can go. anyone else get this, is there anything I can do to fix it?

yeah but the lead paint on it causing constant health degeneration balances it out
