IMO coastline isn't a bad map, it's just a boring map. Not large and elaborate enough to do any large scale stuff, but not small enough to create the interesting scenarios that house creates.
I disagree. I think coastline is one of the better maps. Not a Skyscraper or a vanilla tier map but it's definitely up there.

I was queuing with a friend in casual and losing 0:2 to a team that are mostly premades pulling some of the worst cheap shots (pretty much the whole team is spawn rushing/peeking). My pub teammates are dropping like flies and ragequitting, and my friend is too new to really help beside watching my back while we're sniped from like 6 different pinholes on the map. Needless to say I was pretty salty and I swore I had to win at least one round.

Is capitao good?
I'm trying to decide primarily between him and Buck but I'm kinda hesitant on Buck since sledge does basically the same thing.
While with capitao I like the idea behind using his bolts as area denial and his smoke bolts to support glaz
Buck is better than Sledge in the sense you can shotgun out floors above an objective room to give yourself a clear line of fire on enemies, whereas Sledge can't hammer floors IIRC. His shotgun is also way more utilitarian because it allows you to quickly blast out a chunk of wall and instantly switch to your normal gun to kill anyone.
Capitao is awesome at pushing Defenders, cause you can firebomb a location an enemy is hiding in, basically flushing them out. Works wonders in tandem with a teammate on comms, as long as they're ready to spray and kill whoever it is that runs from cover to cover. It's hard to pull off yourself, cause switching from xbow to your gun takes a bit of time, and the enemy can be behind new cover by then.
I personally prefer Capitao, just cause his guns are great, and his bolts are really helpful for clearing out the objective room and killing any pesky bastards holding a tight angle that'll insta-kill you if you try to push it. His smoke bolts are also way better than typical smoke grenades, as they produce a thicker and bigger cloud.
That being said, I've been watching a lot of Macie vids lately, and his use of Buck makes me realise just how awesome an operator he is. Opening up loads of kill holes quickly and easily seems like a great perk.

Isn't the new season just around the corner though? Depending on how many S2 operators you've unlocked, I'd say save up your renown for S3 operators and outright buy the S2 guys.

Also I changed the image to the larger one, did not realize I was using the thumbnail image....
Capitaos rifle is one of the most satisfying sounding guns in the game imo.
It's also a million times more stable than Bucks.

Sledge can hit floors, it just takes two hits sometimes (floor then ceiling). Personally I prefer Buck because the masterkey is another weapon, it has a longer range than the hammer, and is faster to use.
