First video was uploaded in January when there was actual problems with it
First video was uploaded in January when there was actual problems with it
Issue is still very much present tho' The amount of times I've been behind some solid cover and WHOOPS my head was apparently not there.
First video was uploaded in January when there was actual problems with it
If you watch the second video it shows that they didn't remedy it at all and instead made it kick absurdly high pings faster. This issue is very real and persistent, seeing as how the ping requirements to be kicked are too high (500+) compared to when the problem actually starts happening (110+).
I usually run a 95-120 so everyone can fuck off :v: That's on PS4 though.
wow today was just a bunch of good moments for me, heckie.
How'd you know where blueshift was? Roaming is one part of the game I've yet to be able to wrap my head around. It feels like every time I try an attacker is always watching right where I'm coming from.

If you dont have information to know where the enemy is you should never advance. Honestly unless you're a great shot I'd suggest simply playing as a passive roamer. Ceiling killholes above hatches. Holding a valuable choke point. Hell, even sitting in a room and waiting for people to pass works. The kills Grim got should've never happened to begin with because the hatch was open and the other team should've noticed, but he was still being a relatively passive defender until they hit the trap.

The issue is considerably smaller today than it was in January. People just have to play smarter.

This was like 1am footage tho' I was super mellow and tired, which somehow makes me even better at it :v: I use audio cues a lot when roaming, I didn't make it quite obvious in the first webm but they broke through the wood which I clearly heard and I just waited for the shield to pass. I gamble a lot on my roaming, but hey, who dares wins, right? Most of the times that I die is that I sprint into a room without checking corners first, or I get sensory overload cause there's like 3 deployable shields and I fail to spot the peeker. [editline]27th August 2016[/editline] What bothers me the most about spectating is that I CLEARLY hear someone coming from their right side and they're just watching another entrance and wham, dead. People need to stop using mono speakers. Thrill of the hunt, buddy.

Thrill of the hunt, buddy.
There is probably a much tougher curve to roaming on PC as well, to be fair. Gunfights are way more decisive in general due to better aim. People cut their corners much much tighter and clear much more efficiently. My suggestion to others would be to always use your floorbangs and keep distance until you're either forced out or given reason to move. Not everyone can be as successful when going aggro. I know I sure as hell couldn't with my aim. :v:
So Rainbow Six Siege runs like complete ass when I have my monitor plugged into my laptop. I have an MSi GS72. Specs: i7 6700HQ 970M 4GB 16 GB RAM Games running off an SSD Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236309 The strangest thing is that it runs absolutely great on just the laptop, with the same settings it runs at a smooth 70-90 FPS. Then once I plug my monitor in everything get quite blurry at 1080P, like the refresh rate is off or something. I change it, change V sync settings, all sorts of stuff, doesn't make a difference. I can run it in windowed or borderless without it getting blurry, but at the cost of the game running at 30 FPS. My first thought was that it was my monitor or something related. However, when I play DOOM, GTA, Killing Floor 2, Rising Storm, they all run great with my monitor at the frames they usually do on just the laptop. It makes me think its something screwy with Siege. I've tried playing around with some driver settings with Siege specifically, but it hasn't made much difference. Anyone have any ideas as to whats going on or how to fix it?
Got 25k renown, should I grab Blackbeard or Capitao? Leaning towards Capitao for his sleek hitbox, 1 speed, 2 frags, but I want to fire up some discussion before jumping. What do other people think?
BB > Cap any day
Got 25k renown, should I grab Blackbeard or Capitao? Leaning towards Capitao for his sleek hitbox, 1 speed, 2 frags, but I want to fire up some discussion before jumping. What do other people think?
Capitao. Para is a beast gun. Frags. Fire bolts OP.
Cap is crazy good and fun

Looking like Cap at the moment since I only solo queue casual, so I'm prioritising the funner operator than the better one if that makes sense. Thanks for the advice guys.
It's probably just me but I feel like matchmaking is fucked since season 3 started. In half the games I get in (casual), I end up in a team of lvl <80 against a team of >140... It's a bit annoying.
Late night matchmaking is the worst. You get a huge range of players
Late night matchmaking is the worst. You get a huge range of players
I literally only get diamond squads :(
for ranked, BB is a must pick until he gets nerfed or they do something to him
I literally only get diamond squads :(
Yesterday i was playing with a platinum and a level 6. The veteran teaching the rookie
interesting matchups in casual sometimes enemy team had a diamond and plat, they were playing serious too, 3 of them constantly spawn peeked and picked off basically my whole team while i blackbeard'd them, still won tho lmao [editline]28th August 2016[/editline] [t]http://crash.s-ul.eu/DuqPzvKi[/t] [editline]28th August 2016[/editline] was a fun challenge to play against them tho
people keep thinking that high ping = god when its more like high ping = you can peek faster but 99 percent of your hits dont count
Have the serves been trash for anyone else? Had copious amounts of banding yesterday that was match wide. Also I raised my friends ranks from copper 2 to silver 1
people keep thinking that high ping = god when its more like high ping = you can peek faster but 99 percent of your hits dont count
With high ping you also have trouble with peekers since you see them appearing way later on your screen.

8hp too. That team choked on that Brazilian dick.
8hp too. That team choked on that Brazilian dick.
I think the first two kills were just smooth play and good work by me. Valk completely and wholesomely soiled it though :v:
