explaining further :
Normally you can only pick a CT Recruit, as you start with no unique operators, no R6 credits and no Renown (which you can start earning by watching the tutorial videos and doing the single player Situations)
To quote the webpage :
Additional operators can be unlocked in the Starter Edition by earning 12,500 renown (compared to 500-2,000 renown in the Standard Edition).

I hope they'll add the main weapons that are produced in Japan.
Like the howa type 89 assault rifle, and the revolver nambu model 60 revolver.
I hope the new attacker ships with an Assault Rifle or Shield Combo similar to Fuze along with a shield rebalance.
It's btw on sale on humble store, I'm gonna buy it myself I think. This is full version by the way.

Well imo you might not want to get the first one since there is only one more release of operators and maps this year; I would just wait and see if they announce a year 2 season pass and go with that one since you can get it at the start.

Maybe if there is a HUGE sale on it but I mean by now if you are a normal player you probably have the operators unlocked already so you would be paying basically just to get the next operator set a week early and free... so you are basically either paying $30.00 or just using another 50k renown for the next 2 operators what sounds better?
-This only would apply if you have already purchased all previous DLC operators with renown by now.
-The renown increase is garbo so it doesn't even apply regardless so I definitely wouldn't make that a decision maker on getting it this late.
But the Japanese CTU release is next and the last for this year so I wouldn't spend $30.00 bucks for this last set when there are already hints here and there on another year plan when you can just save that $30.00 for that if it is actually a thing.
Don't you get a whole set of weapon skins for getting the season pass? I'm not sure if those skins are exclusive to the first season or not but they might make a whole new batch for people who get season 2. That might be a little incentive to still get the pass now, plus if you haven't unlocked all the new operators yet you get instant access.
I guess it just depends if you consider the skins(?) and getting the operators right away are worth the emone or not.

I got the game for free with my graphics card and was quite happy with the game, so I decided to buy the season pass to support the devs. Sometimes I regret it though when I have to deal with the bad netcode and shitty matchmaking.

I have 150 hours played and I have never seen anyone teamkilled for starting as rookie. That is massively unlucky.

I played one round of Terrorist Hunt Classic and it made me happy, because I played the SHIT out of R6, Rogue Spear and Raven Shield terrorist hunt modes online, and TH Classic in Siege is almost the exact same game mode. No waves spawning like Vegas. They're just around the map and you kill them. Simple.
Lot of fun.
The rest of the Terrorist Hunt modes blow, IMO

And I don't mind Defense really either. But Bomb Defusal is awful.
