The only buff I can think of for him is being a little more resistant to explosives. But atm, it feels like my shield doesn't block bullets like it should be.

Cause everyone at this point has learnt that if the shield is up, shoot their hand or if you're in a good angle, aim just above the head part cause if the hitreg RNG is with you tonight you can score a headshot.
And obviously if they dare ADS they're dead.

I don't think it needs to block all. Explosives keep you on your toes as Monty and you have to balance your push to add pressure. The addition of weak ass impact grenades has helped a bit but I do think the best buff for monty would be to have him more resistant to explosives, as well as those behind the shield properly. It's almost always what fucks me over when I'm playing him and it just feels cheap all the time.

What big old Mont needs is some shielding for the back of his head so his hecking teammates don't square him in the skull, cause this has happened p much every time someone picks him on my team :v:

Destroying doors while sprinting would instantly make montagne my favorite operator. Nothing better than screaming as a viking when you rush trough a door with all of your team mates shooting :v:

to answer peeps questions: not a lot of people on the discord play rainbow six actively, but you will usually always find a game 6 PM AST/GMT+3. people play ranked most of the time. if your american/australian, the chances of you findng a game are next to zero. mostly europe
