I think he's trying to say that when trying to decide whether a shot hit or missed when doing lag compensation that the game should prefer to say shots hit.

Has anyone been getting "Update Failed" upon launch ever since the patch earlier today? I can't even get to the main menu anymore, it gives me "Update Failed" right after it stays in the "Validating and updating playlists and properties" loading screen for an unusually long time. Anyone know of a fix?
So I reinstalled the entire game and I'm still getting the same error. I'm quite pissed now, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to fix it. Not one person in any help thread regarding the issue has written about a solution other than verify game files which I've already done multiple times

That is absolutely a viable tactic when no reinforcements need muted, and is best during the set up phase.
I don't mind it 1 second once you can confirm theres no thermite or that fuze isn't gonna fuck you up through the windows. But really, even if you know noone can get through reinforced walls, they're still useful to stop bullshittery from windows etc. The only instance that can't be covered are rooftops.
For the setup phase, sure, I myself put them to stop drones. But after that, they can be put to better use.
