You're nmever ready for online in this game.
Don't worry about winning or losing, just get out there and have fun.

As long as you've learned all the operator strengths/weaknesses and general required behaviors when attacking/defending you will do ok.
The fact you're doing situations puts you above half the playerbase who are also starting off right now. Seen people running with Hibana and they don't even know half the operators or their skills.

sometimes you will do great, sometimes you will play like ass. the game is literally like playing the lottery. you never know what's going to happen. "skill" can only get you so far since the game heavily relies on praying that sloppy as hell netcoding and wonky hitboxes are in your favor. sometimes you can outstrategize the other team and it's awesome when that happens, but most of the time you're just running around and popping cameras. the team with more intel than the other is usually the one that will win, but that's hardly the case since someone with one MS ping higher than everyone else will be able to pop you around corners before you even see them
does bandits gadget only protect one reinforced wall? Can you seriously not put the charge in the middle of two and protect both?
does bandits gadget only protect one reinforced wall? Can you seriously not put the charge in the middle of two and protect both?
it's kind of a trade off with mute. Mute can do most of 2 walls but can't destroy gadgets placed on it. Bandit has the potential to deal some damage and destroy gadgets on the wall.
Really the only reason people pick Bandit over mute is for his speed and guns, which comes with an acog unlike mute who has no acog.
Both are good picks imo
yeah, bandit's special ability REALLY sucks if you are using it for covering walls. you're better off with having mute cover large wall surfaces while bandit traps wires or single walls
bandit is really good at juking though if you can isolate thermite's audio when he's placing his thermite charges. if you do it right, you can plant your charge right on the wall as he's getting ready to detonate which instantly fries his gadget. it's not really practical though since it requires too much focus on covering that one wall when you really should be roaming (at least IMO)

as long as you dont use a fucking thermite charge on a barricade youre good
this is the state of casual now

I've seen a Jager put all 3 ADS gadgets on a single bulletproof door.
Infact I have footage of a guy throwing nitro on a wall by accident. Staring at it for 5 seconds and then just detonating it, right in front of his face.
Started collection of dumb shit pubs do barely a few week back and its growing absurdly quick.

i also had a little kid (he had a mic) that didn't know how to break barricades so he stared at a barricade for like a minute until someone put him out of his misery and told him to press V for melee.
you don't have to be good at the game but man at least know how to play the game/your operator...

They need to make playing situations mandatory or at least shove them in your face upon first playing, explaining very clearly why you need to play them first.
I'd love to see an operator capable of disabling all lighting of rooms for let's say, 10-30 seconds.
He'd have night vision goggles and some kind of sound disabling hand grenades (making you deaf for a few seconds) for the situations where disabling lighting wouldn't do much.
It wouldn't be usable in all situations and all maps (daytime, placement, ...), but I believe it'd still be fun, no?
its nice to see r6s getting a bunch of positive reviews on the steam store tho
I'm playing through the situations on Realism trying to three star each one and oh boy the twitch aimbot on the AI makes it really rough. I'm hoping it'll make me less of a terrible new player though.

some of the new operators are really good, i love the guy with the shield that goes on his weapon
Got an ace with blackbeard and finished the game 11-3-2.
Love skyscraper map knowledge.
i am doing better than expected though i don't have the operators all memorized which makes calling out less useful than it could be
sometimes i forget blitz's name so i just say the dude with a shield who flashes you

SHES IN THAT FUCKING GAY SPOT IM TELLING YOU DUDE SHES FUCKING HACKING WITH THAT RANGE
i just say things like "can confirm eggs are over easy, five by five, alpha romeo has skootched the pooch" then throw grenades in the general direction of where i think bad guys are
every match, it always takes me a while to load up and every match i get "toaster" or "hamster powered"
That's just a common greeting now.
Worse is when they start talking shit cause you died early one round and they're 0-0-4 while you're topping the scoreboard.
every match, it always takes me a while to load up and every match i get "toaster" or "hamster powered"
I've always seen that, but lately it's been way worse.
In one game, I was almost kicked out of the blue, when I asked about it, they told me to "Stop fucking talking, n-word" and to 'Shut up, cunt'. In another game, someone told me to kill myself, repeatedly.
Not good vibes, overall.
