Got back up to Plat I last night and didn't play like big, steamy garboo. A few days ago I dropped down to bottom of Gold II from Plat I. It was a bad day.
the worst thing about casual is that there's no way to filter out high level ranked players. it's absolutely ridiculous when a team of diamonds hop on to casual just to pub stomp to inflate their egos and ruin the game for everyone else. imo if you get high ranked and play casual it should punish your rank
I would love a gameplay pass over terrorist hunt now that the games been out for awhile. It feels very rudimentary.

Sometimes you can't help but play like trash for a few matches.
Is this a good game to pick up if you don't have a group of mates to play it with? I'm very interested in it, but I wouldn't want to play it if everyone always queue's as a premade group and stomps solo queuer's like myself.
Nothing quite like being a new player and getting stomped by level 100's, teabagged, insulted over text chat from the enemies, yelled at by teammates over voice, then vote-kicked for not knowing about the strategic spots to hide In casual

In ranked you're going to come against far more premades, but you won't come across full premades often unless you're higher up in the ranks.
Youre right about the first part, but the "punishing" your rank just for playing casual is retarded.
once you get gold, platinum or diamond and are comfortable with that icon on your profile then there's no reason for you to go back to ranked since if you lose you could lose your rank. that's not fair to us casual players who get paired up against teams of plat-diamond players back to back. you can say that it's not a problem but it is. high ranked players flood casual because they know they don't get penalized if they lose so they've got nothing TO lose

Right now i have have problems with new players acting like fucking cunts on casual. They teamkill every now and then, killing themselves with gadgets or just are just fucking around not actually playing the game. It's people like that who should be punished, not actual players.
i agree, but you can be level 100 and still be really awful at the game. it just means you've invested a lot of time in it. i've played with a lot of awful level 100s that are more than happy to shoot the hostage and otherwise be absolutely useless i just think casual should act like ranked since we know ubi will never fix matchmaking. you'll always get paired with shitty players and you'll always get paired against people who are nowhere near your level. that's just part of siege, because ubi only see siege as a competitive title and nothing else. why add matchmaking filters when you just assume everyone is a pro player
Hey guys, I bought this game a few days ago and played a couple of matches on Casual till now. Even tho I'm decent at CS I find myself get headshotted easily and there are quite a number of heroes that I dunno, so I'll guess I have to adapt to it. Either way, as I know of how shitty playing alone is in CS, is there a discord you guys know of for Rainbow Six? Or anyone of you that's up to play some games together?
FP Discord here: https://discord.gg/fzdwDj3 Most are European, keep that in mind. There's only a few of us within the US
im level 62 and completely fucking bad but thats because a russian hacked my account and bought a ton of shit and played a ton before i got back my account since he didnt change the email
I'm level 104 and I'm complete garbage, but I still have fun. i like to blame my computer for being less responsive than it could be. It was lag, I swear!

Comp players with good map knowledge at that, they let us win 2 rounds then just flattened us. Though I guess they can't be great comp players if they think pub stomping is valuable usage of time.
Just got the game, pretty fun, but I want Frost since I pretty much only play Trapper in DBD and they seem mechanically the same, but holy fuck she's expensive.
Just got the game, pretty fun, but I want Frost since I pretty much only play Trapper in DBD and they seem mechanically the same, but holy fuck she's expensive.
only 3 frost traps and most pro players now watch for them speaking of pro players, dont know where all you guys are gettng all these pro diamond players, usually im swimming in a sea of coppers and level ones
Well I won't or shouldn't be playing with pros for awhile right?
Well I won't or shouldn't be playing with pros for awhile right?
hopefully, but pass level 50 expect your traps to become useless FUN FACT: The reason why both teams are CTUs is (if you read the book) both teams typically train against each other competitively, in Rainbow. this is training. i think the software that the VR is called is SWAT, and they say in the book the hit reg is fucking garbage as well source: decided to read the book yesterday, finished it this morning
uplay stop being fucking down
only 3 frost traps and most pro players now watch for them
You can still be put into a situation were you'll run into one. That's like saying there is no point in playing Mute because they'll just get Thatcher'd, or there is no point in playing Twitch because your drone will get shot.
No point playing Tachanka, either does nothing or mows down the whole team. :v:
tachanka is a meme and you should only play him if you want to piss off your friends
tachanka is a meme and you should only play him if you want to piss off your friends
Perfect.
then you have my blessing.
tachanka is a meme and you should only play him if you want to piss off your friends
man I iced a whole team as 'Chanker, nobody expects a LMG to rip open a wall nowadays. Also, here's a moment. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/mguaym.webm[/vid]
you should only play him if you want to piss off your friends
Me
only 3 frost traps and most pro players now watch for them speaking of pro players, dont know where all you guys are gettng all these pro diamond players, usually im swimming in a sea of coppers and level ones
i have been on vacation all week last night and i have pretty much been playing rainbow six every chance i get since it started. for the first three or four days i was just getting the best pub teams ever on casual. a few pages back i even said i played for almost 13 or so games straight and the solo queued players i was with were just making the perfect team and destroying everything. yesterday and today though the game has not once been in my favor. if it's not a solo diamond player showing up just for kicks it's an entire premade team of golds and platinums and never anything less. in fact every time i backed out of matchmaking and went back to casual it would take me to ANOTHER gold-plat team. i just gave up. i think they are older players that just showed back up because of the steam sale. they bought some dinky weapon skins and decided to curb stomp low levels in casual to feel good about themselves and in the meanwhile they've just been shitting on the game for the rest of us ofc leave it to ubi to punish those of us that don't have the time of day to become pro league players in casual so we have to suffer playing with and against them [editline]28th November 2016[/editline] also tachanka has an amazing smg so if you become good at using it he's essentially a heavy armored recruit. a lot of people rag on him but he's pretty awesome. especially in house and skyscraper where there's plenty of walls to rip people through
Why does everyone here think that diamond players or pre-mades are just coming in on the sale weekend trying to boost their ego by pub stomping other players? Why can't they just be playing casual cause they don't want to play ranked? Are you guys really that salty that really good players/teams don't want to play ranked all the time?
