The entire point of the impact grenades is to break through walls, not to kill attackers.
Yeah and nitro cells were for killing enemies and now a lot of operators have lost that. You don't really need to be breaking walls as a defender that often anyway.

Impact nades have incredible usefulness in creating setups based on the destructible environment, especially in bomb.
The entire point of the impact grenades is to break through walls, not to kill attackers.
also attack and wear down shields
Yeah and nitro cells were for killing enemies and now a lot of operators have lost that. Impact grenades save those nitros from being used at the cost of less ops have them.
Nitro cells are fucking annoying anyway, most games I'm in people just spam the fuck out of the few they have.
A map in Haifa or Tel Aviv would have been extremely cool. For spain, it's gotta be something set in Euskadi or Catalunia...
imagine a mountain outpost/bunker (made out of wood for some reason)
Maps I'd love to see: Casino (game desperately needs a Vegas map), cabin in the mountains (Chalet 2?), and a castle map. Hong Kong could be a market or a luxury high rise hotel.
Man, a busy market street would be super cool but I don't think massively open maps could benefit Siege, cause of how it plays, maybe if the market was designed in such a way that it could maybe pass for a killhouse I suppose :v: [editline]2nd December 2016[/editline] But yeah vaulting over stands and going through the backdrops, shooting wok pans, heck yeah.
I would fucking shit if they did Kowloon Walled City for the Hong Kong map. I love that place from a conceptual standpoint.
please no, a map with a ton of small rooms sounds really stupid to play in
Bet the HK map is going to be some stereotypical restaurant.
Ah, IQ sounds so cute when she scans a bomb.
I think it would be kinda cool to see an operator that rather than having a specific custom ability gadget, would instead simply be able to grab and climb ledges or something. That or a grappling hook or something like that so you could climb up places that others can't rappel up to. I already really like the verticality that the gameplay has and being able to take that even further would be really cool. Being able to actually go up through blown up hatches would be awesome.

I think that would be cool for a defender, but you hook yourself up into the ceiling it would be OP af but it would be fun

Need some help, I played rank with my housemate who is particularly bad at Rainbow Six, we lost all matches we played, leading to me going down at least 10 divisions, now I am well and truly stuck at the bottom of the league playing with some truly awful players. How the hell do I get back out?
shit on people with blackbeard i guess, make people peek you. [editline]3rd December 2016[/editline] you can also dumpster bad players with valkyrie by roaming windows. For example on Skyscraper if you get the kitchen for the objective room, there's some stairs next to it and a window in the corridor that leads to the stairs. Throw a cam outside and when people try to enter the kitchen, hop out the corridor window and kill them when they're not paying attention and are trying to peek inside the kitchen
So I'm getting close to getting the 25k renown and I'd like to get a new defense operator and I can't decide between Frost and Valkyrie. I use cameras a lot so Valkyrie's cameras seem pretty useful but so do Frost's traps. And they both have fairly similar weapons so I can't make my mind up.

As long as nobody spam the spot button, they will not destroy it. *Best of all, you can throw them outside the defender area and you can know where the attackers are coming from, which window are they peeking, have the advantage. *However, when throwing a cam outside, try not to put them at plain sight (like on the bloody floor), they will destroy it even before you have the chance of use it Frost: *At lower levels she can be very useful, but past lvl50, everyone will see them and they will not fall on your traps so easily *She is like a better version of kapkan, but try to blend your traps with the environment *Bonus points if the enemy doesnt spot you during preparation phase, they will not look for frost traps until midmatch, you will have a better chance of trapping someone Id say buy valk
Valk overall is much better for supporting the team. Frost really only gets people who are not paying attention or have the pressure to rush last minute. Speaking of, Frost could genuinely use a good buff. I'd say make the traps a bit visually smaller but still has the same trap range.
I wonder how similar the Hong Kong and South Korea maps are going to be. I'm sure they could differentiate them pretty good, but Hong Kong and the large South Korean cities are pretty similar. Unless they put the South Korea map in North Korea for some reason.

Is this where the siege memes go?
I wonder if they'll bring back any maps from older games with the new DLC.
I keep running into Frost's trap aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa [editline]3rd December 2016[/editline] HK map is either going to be cliche public housing or fancy shopping mall
Super Bunnyhop did a revisiting of siege He nailed my thoughts on the community, the popularity made the game worse although it was inevitable.
Super Bunnyhop did a revisiting of siege He nailed my thoughts on the community, the popularity made the game worse although it was inevitable.
I rather have a toxic community then a dead game imo. Im glad these new players are coming, it was fun to have the old strats back and see things that i havent seen in months, like fuzing the hostage. Attackers rushing in, etc etc
