Damn near impossible? Yeah, sorry, can't relate. I was able to use it just fine. No one was complaining about it to an extent that would warrant a buff of this magnitude. It honestly doesn't seem like you were using him right, because now it takes zero effort to be lethal with him, which you now deem as being "finally usable". His ability is powerful enough, being able to know where the enemy is through walls - being able to track them as easily as you can now was way too fucking much. I'm sure his nerf will come some time in season 3, so enjoy how OP he is while you can, I guess. I certainly am, because he's kinda fuckin' ridiculous.
As I said. I'd get the cardiac sensor points but would never see the red dot. Maybe it's a PS4 thing but everyone I know who tried to use him struggled to identify where the fuck the enemy was other than the points showing up.
Your next line will be "Activating Heartbeat Sensor".

Saw the huge number increase on the steam player tracker, decided to be a cheap ass and buy a cd key.
Accidentally bought it for uplay.
I don't think Pulse (before) was used to wallbang people, which is why he was "hard" to use. He was useful for spotting where people were without relying on the cameras. If the attacking team broke all the cameras, Pulse could still be used to know "alright there's 2 guys upstairs, one in the next room, etc." He was a mobile x-ray camera and he was pretty damn useful.
Right now he's not just a camera, he's a bloody wallhacker, able to wallbang everyone without any risk or danger. His only counter is IQ, which is near useless since you have to 1v1 the guy with a wallhack, shotgun and C4 and you have what... a tiny pistol ? That's not really a counter if you ask me.

I think every sentence of this post is wrong in some way.
How do I fight shields one on one
How do I fight shields one on one
Go for the cheeky stab before they clonk you to death, or stare them down and aim at their head until they pull down the shield then slot them
Again the issue was being unable to identify location. Too often it only gave the points instead of showing where the enemy is.
How do I fight shields one on one
Stay moving. Keep distance. Aim for the arm holding the pistol unless they try to aggro and aim down. If you have C4 obviously use it.
The key to beating shields is to put the pressure on them without allowing them in too tight. A shield getting shot at and occasionally hit on the arm will either go aggro and open themselves up or back off. Won't sit there and take bullets.

flank, nitro cell, melee
pick one
As I said. I'd get the cardiac sensor points but would never see the red dot. Well, regardless, it was never an issue for me, and judging by all the higher level player game footage of people playing Pulse pre-buff, he was used in largely the way I'm describing. Problem is, that now, no experience and map knowledge is truly required to anticipate the move of the enemy. You can see exactly where they're going because their dots move WITH THEM. Honestly, the ability to know where people are (to the extent that the pre-buff sensor gave you) is enough, if I also get the knowledge of the ABSOLUTE location of each player, I have way too much of an advantage. I'm not exactly sure how much different the playstyle would be between console and PC, though, so maybe it's a console thing that I never experienced.

As much as you feel safe and may want to, don't ever stand back to them. Always have them in your line of sight.
Timer for the update

Man that looks broken
Literally all you have to do to counteract this is either all push as one or have 2 flankers who stay together. Being able to stand on top of someone bleeding out for a few seconds while they're pinging you and screaming at their team isn't going to be easy. Pulse is way worse for wallhacks, currently his sensor is 100% precise and putting it away takes less than a second.

Yeah but with Pulse you only have him who has the wallhacks. I mean it does seem difficult to isolate one person and then stand over them for a bit but if that does happen, the entire team knows where every attacker is instantly and for quite a bit of time. I'm interested to see how this will play out. I also wonder what the animation is like for the player on the other end
But you just change your teamplay style by sticking together until she's killed, then you can go back to doing whatever.

The interrogation feels like a high risk, high reward kind of skill.
I think it will be OP on Favela due to outside walls being thin but that's it.

Is tactical realism mode coming with the skull rain update or later?

Really? Dead playerbase before it has begun then. Great!

Well in our Discord, we're planning on playing some 5v5 Realism mode, once the update is out. I think it's good for custom games rather than a queue because of how intense it is.
