in a game based so heavily around communication, why would you skimp on the chat feature??
Had a round on secure area where I clutched a 1v2, but I downed the last guy and took half a step out the door because I wasn't sure I downed him. Lost the match. :suicide:

Saw a thatcher and started shooting, just as valk walked in front. Ended up incapping valk and headshotting thatcher through her torso. There was plenty of space behind me, why choose to walk in front!?

Lots of people have no situational awareness/ get tunnel vision. Or they just don't care/forget friendly fire is a thing.

i rarely ever use voice chat in games but this has been the exception, use it all the time here because i feel like i'm not playing right if i'm not using it

Situational awareness aka not using their entire screen to play. I've had people "not see" their teammate die next to them on the stair case while the enemy is walking down the stairs.
Completely frustrating
Is there any sort of matchmaking in Casual play?
I just bought recently and my friends and I have just been constantly getting shat on by people that are way better than us. Its kinda discouraging if I am being honest.
I just had a genuinely fantastic experience whilst solo queuing, was playing casual and basically made friends with the 4 other people I was playing with. We played 5 matches, I think, and won 4 of them, first time I've experienced the nice side of the community with this.

I literally just had the same exact thing, hands down the nicest people ever. Gave nice callouts, constantly gave good moral support, etc. I'm actually surprised by this, I've never had people this nice.
Not really sure how to describe what happened other than "extremely deep gut feeling"

i'd much rather get shit on by really good players tbh, you can learn something new
like we were playing attackers on oregon and the defenders were at dining room. A lot of us got killed because two people were at the top floor of watch tower overlooking the outside of dining room, I didn't even know you could do that and I'm definitely using that next time I get meeting room.

I see heaps of people with 150. Should be fine, I would never call someone out on that, unless they were shitting on me and I was getting frustrated and looking for something to blame.

yes, look it up you can change the match making server in your config files. The game was telling me I was from the US so awhile ago I once had to manually set it to AU

I guess that explains all the instances of seemingly invisible players where you can be watching a corner and then suddenly you'll die, only to watch the killcam and see the other player clearly walk around the corner and shoot at you despite you dying before your game could even update to show that happening. Also that player orientation bug is fucking ridiculous.

The orientation bug has been fixed since this video it is older; netcode still isn't fixed as much but they have been saying they have been improving it and adding new monitoring tools etc... on their end so they can see where the issues are at.
