Do you make [I]any [/I]noise when you're using Silent Step? Some dude said he heard me and flicked to shoot me even though I was using silent step. I'm pretty sure he's completely bullshitting and there was no cameras or drones around for his team to spot me but he just kept repeating "i heard u noob"

maybe you walked a bit before you used it, or a bit after it ended
Silent step makes you really quiet but still hearable. If there's a ton of gunfire going on, you'll most likely not hear it. If there's absolute silence, you'll definitely hear it
It was the cabin map, can't remember the name. He was on the roof outside and I was inside. I wasn't even moving before using it but I heard him moving around on the roof so I went into silent step and walked out the front door. I was still in the ability but he turned completely around and shot me.
He was stomping around on the roof so I figured even if the ability did make a tiny bit of noise when moving, his loud ass footsteps would mask it anyway. I wasn't running or anything, I was actually walking while also in silent step.

30 kills by only gadget [I]and[/I] melee kills. Just play shield fuze and once you've used up all your clusters just try to get melee kills with the shield by getting up close. If fuze is taken, play Blitz or Montagne and try to get up close to defenders to shield bash them. If you're on defense, I found playing Caveira and waiting around corners to knife someone worked sometimes. I did the challenge in a day (it did take quite a while) but if you're sneaky it's not totally impossible to get the kills as defense (you just have to play up-close ambushing right) and if you're attacking you just need to play a shield OP and try to get close to your enemies. I found that waiting around corners for someone to turn them worked quite well if I was sitting right at the edge of the corner close enough to knife them as soon as they turned it.

Finished the gadget kills assignments tonight, played Cav mostly, her pistol counts as gadget kills,
attacker just played fuze. Got way more Luision kills than Fuze charge kills.

The AI seems to have little regard for things like being surprised by an exploding wall, so it's a little counterintuitive in that regard

What the fuck is wrong with this game? Like this thing that happened last match made me almost uninstall it.
Like if most of the time not even seeing enemies and somehow I still get shot and killed is not enough, now when I unlocked Blitz and I go to someone with my shield covering my whole goddamn body, I still get shot and killed. Is this game fucking with me or something? Cause I'm starting to think it's bugged to shit.

If people peek and shoot fast enough, you won't even see them before you get shot. It's the peeker's advantage.
I'm a huge noob, and I get killed for stupid reasons all the time. I'll get shot and then a buddy tells me I was under a camera the whole time, or a pulse was following my every move on the other side of the wall or something. The skill ceiling in this game is incredibly high, and the learning curve is pretty sadistic in how the game lets you get fucked over and over without ever explaining why. I love it, though. This game is unlike any shooter on the market right now.
You know what really pisses me off.
That if your teammates leave in a ranked match, you get punished normally for losing a match. I've had 4 games in a row where it was 3v5.
FIX THIS.
This might be the first challenge charm I won't get... just running out of time and have real life stuff over the next few days (christmas yay). Might be a relief just to stop trying to get it and just relax.
