I remember reading that Castle was someone you should avoid if you don't know what your doing, so I'll definitely stay away from him. What about Frost or Kapkan? It seems like it's simple enough to put traps in areas where enemies would be coming, but should I have more sense of the maps and paths players actually take? Valkyrie seems the same way when it comes to good places to put your camera. I had actually forgotten about Rook and I'll definitely play him the first few games I do. I'll try out Mute too.

Laser sights are completely worthless on anything that's not a shield pistol.
They also make you much more visible to enemies-- they'll see that stupid fuckin' dopey red beam, turn directly to where they know you're looking, and pop you through a wall/peek you instantly through a doorway/fuck you instantly once you peek.

Laser sights are useful for shotguns, since the easiest way to use them is hipfiring. Also, they removed the laser beam, so now you can only see the dot.

Thanks, I had been using them simply because they look cool but if they're an actual hindrance, I'll take them off all my guns.

they can be useful on shotguns as well, but outside of that yea, its best if you take them off primaries, since you can spot them on walls if an enemy is looking at that wall, making it easy to tell their position/if they're sneaking up on you
which can also be used on you if you have laser sights :v:

Don't know why but didn't heaps of people use laser sights in Pro League in the Skull Rain season? Like I swear I saw like 4 or 5 players running them. A Jaeger and Thermite from memory, maybe an Ash?

Gotta admit, Buck's C8 with the Eotech and the laser sight looks hella rad. It's a shame they made it so putting optics on it takes off the front sight though, it always kinda annoys me in games when they do that. I saw some old footage from when Black Ice first came out and it didn't do it then so I guess people complained that it covered 1% of your screen and needed to be removed.
Also, in a lot of the videos I see on here people seem to always use the Acog on their guns. Is there a reason?

I think it was a meme started when they talked about being able to turn them off or something. pro players especially are gonna be ads all the time so they'd care even less about the lower hipfire spread.

cause its generally OP as shit compared to other sights, since it zooms you in like crazy, making it perfect for pixel shooting and general sniping. It's hard to get used to, especially with the pronounced visual recoil, and sometimes you might want to use the holo sight instead of it.
Haha, a breakthrough on my account. So I decided to test if I could sign-in to the client by running one of the games I own on Steam, such as Siege. Turns out it bypasses the 2FA entirely if the accounts are linked, and from there it automatically signed me in browser-side by going to support in the options of the client. And now I've requested the 2FA be removed in a support ticket. Hopefully they'll do that, and I'll be able to have my account back completely under my control.

I had the same thing happen to me, honestly the best thing to do is call the ubisoft support number.
Quickest account related customer service I've ever had honestly. Took < 5 minutes from when it happened to me calling to get the 2FA removed from my account and add it for myself.

Uh, is anyone else's Uplay account being hijacked right now? Some asshole enabled 2 step verification and now I can't log in. He even changed my name. I didn't even know Uplay has 2 step verification or else I would've enabled it myself.

Mine was hacked by a Russian for a long time but he never changed my password so I got my name back and had free stuff and all the operators

oh, fuck, I didn't notice, but I find that shotguns are less valuable than automatics unless you have the advantage of surprise, at which point the kill is yours by then anyway
