So, basically, defender Hibana, but with a glass panel.
Maybe it'll have a phase like Titanfall huh, sole MP and then Tit2 had an actual campaign.
But yeah didn't we have this massive discussion before? Yeah I miss the actual structured missions with PvE that had actual objectives and working doors but hey.
Supposedly she's got a shotgun for her secondary weapons.

I don't see why or how people are making a comparison with Hibana besides the only fact her ability effects reinforced walls... IF anything it would be Thermite with an added panel seeing as how he hand places his on the reinforcement.
Hibana shoots hers from a distance has a 3x3 stacked panel and 3 uses of it, Mira is probably only going to get like 2 of these possibly like Thermite.
There is really no comparison to Hibana other than girl - girl, cause she really doesn't even make a complete hole in the wall since it is covered with the glass; and possibly they both only make peeking holes but then again Hibana can make a crawl hole crouch hole and a walking hole where as Mira just looks to create a single visible peek hole covered with a bullet proof panel.
Álvarez also offered a great opportunity to portray the growing interaction between different Operators, even when it is not agreeable. There are particular tension between her and some Rainbow Six Operators. One of them is Eliza Cohen who she met during Operation Blue Orion, which did not yield the anticipated results. Cohen and Álvarez have been brutal rivals on record ever since.
This line has me intrigued it may seem like Ash (Eliza Cohen) might be able to destroy the glass or something easily?
The G.E.O. is known to represent a last front for the police force in Spain, and is often seen as the nation’s most lethal weapon. To embody this image, Álvarez is equipped with the Vector .45 ACP and ITA12L as primary weapons, as well as the ITA12S and USP 40 as secondary weapons.
Gee Álvarez! How come Ubi lets you have two shotguns?
I like her picture. She seems like a more light-hearted operator.

I tried searching for the ITA12L and ITA12S but I couldn't find anything, could someone possibly post some pics of these?

Long and short barrel variant, basically.

Range
Top: 300m
Bottom: 1m
It seems really lazy to do that, but that might just be my anti-ubisoft bias showing.

Well, both of these characters can make a rectangular hole in a reinforced wall that can be used to shoot through (provided the "EXPULSAR" tape means we can remove the glass). There is a similiarity, come on.
And shotgun secondary is interesting, wonder how it will be compared to Buck's.
secondary shotgun to tear down walls, ez

she also hates ash so that's another thing I can respect
At this point we're going to have a defender lineup that is basically a house renovation team

I just realized how useful this operator is going to be when paired up with smoke. You can safely see them walk past your gas grenade to set it off, without them shooting a cam.

Oh fuck they're one-way?
Welp.
wait a minute... oh
if ash can destroy mira's glass then she's honestly worthless.
Is it worth it to get the complete edition? Or should I just get the Year 2 season pass thing?

Complete Edition is the way to go if you can afford it. It's worth it.
if ash can destroy mira's glass then she's honestly worthless.
Yeah I really hope they keep it so only thermite and hibana can break it.
Complete Edition is the way to go if you can afford it. It's worth it.
Or go standard and grind
Complete Edition is the way to go if you can afford it. It's worth it.
Care to elaborate? Can I grind for operators and some cosmetic stuff? What about maps, are they locked somehow?

all maps are free, you can buy most cosmetics and all operators with ingame money
[editline]3rd February 2017[/editline]
but if you don't want to grind get season passes

Neat. One last question though, how bad is the grind?
Not bad at all for standard operators, DLC operators however you need a disgusting amount of ingame renown to buy 'em.
The other grind is if you want cosmetic stuff, or more ACOGs for your guns.
