Is it worth getting the Year 2 edition or would the basic suffice at this stage?
If you get standard be prepared to grind to get the renown needed to get the new ops. Getting the Year 2 stuff will skip most/all of that.
I prefer the grind because you'll learn a lot more
You think they're going to drop the prices of the Season 1 operators now that Season 2 is a go?
I don't wanna pay $20 to unlock all of them but I also don't want to pay 22500 renown for each one.

I read somewhere that they aren't gonna drop the price
Just had a Smoke gas the whole team at the start of the round with the excuse of "it's casual" and then on the next round the whole team just started shooting at each other in the spawn. Am I going to get yelled at for being bad if I play ranked?
Jackal looks insanely OP, it's like a slightly worse Caveira ability with almost 0 risk.

caviar also not only has to down someone for that, she has to rely on the enemy team being out of position enough for her to proper interrogate. (and attackers can simply fall back, defenders don't normally have that option)
So, if I buy the Year 2 pass, do I only have the new ops for the early access period or do I get them forever?

It's weird how many shield users will compromise their impenetrable cover to get a shot at me when I am actively raking their legs.
For example, I was facing down a Montagne on the airplane, we were chilling, nobody was budging, and he tries to make a move, pulls his gun, and I shoot his kneecaps. He backs off, shield up. Ten seconds later, he tries it again. Again, I pop his kneecaps. He backs off, stands there for a good thirty seconds, no backup having come since I shot the guy who was using him as cover, and yet again he decides that his best possible course of action is to pull on me, and I finally end up issuing enough kneecap damage to down him and finish the job with my sidearm.
I don't understand why this happens.

tbh it's one of the things I'm more excited for out of this update. I've been really let down by some of the DLC maps so far so I welcome ones with new concepts like this.
Absolutely slayed on MP yesterday, don't know if I just had a shitty opposition or pure luck.
One game, I killed the entire enemy team one round when solo. Next two rounds myself and this other guy went for a "get in as quick as possible approach". The second the set up timer was up, we both sprinted in, I followed him and we took the enemy team out within 1 minute of the round starting.
I also had a booster pack enabled so currently sitting with over 5K renown (not much I know, but I am only level 14).

Agreed, I hope they do more like this in the future, shakes up the gameplay a bit
Mira's whole window thing is actually a pretty good incentive to go with smoke grenades when attacking.
