My drivers only seem to be resting, how to i get them to work D:
Buy them their own trucks.
Cut their [del]pensions[/del] penises
Man the AI in this game likes to troll me, going way under the speed limit on the motorway, forcing me to slow down, and then they accelerate back up to the speed limit, where, with my begginers truck it take a fucking age back up to speed.
Buy them their own trucks.
im not that stupid :(
They rested for a few hours then went off on jobs. making a bit more money now just by idling
130?

Using this physics mod:

edit:
I forgot you can't see the description on an embedded video. Here are two links for the mod:
http://adf.ly/E0roi - with speed limiter
http://adf.ly/E0r6s without speed limiter
edit: don't ask me what to do with the files, I haven't tried it yet.
I can start of at other locations than uk in demo why should i buy this if i can drive everywhere anyway? just the highways tought.. are there inner citys and stuff?.
There's a newer version of the physics mod out, you can get it here:
Limiter: http://adf.ly/E58lb
No limiter: http://adf.ly/E58jz

There's a lot more that the demo doesn't offer.
For example, playing past level 4.
Also I remember some trucking game where you drive around for a bit then suddenly there are mines everywhere on the road and a helicopter comes and tries to kill you
Hard Truck. That was it. Hard truck. Hard truck 2 iirc.
I can't decide...there's a hardcore mod which makes freight prices much more realistic, i.e. it's hardly worth it driving without your own truck, and it also increases repair costs and some of the fines.
I like my sims hardcore, but it also unlocks all the parts. On the one hand it makes more sense for money to be a factor instead of your experience level. On the other hand there's about a €10,000 between the weakest and the most powerful engine, so there's hardly any incentive to start small.
What do you think about this?

Just don't break or use the gas pedal. Dunno why but it rarely flips for me.
Yea you could do that, but I prefer to play semi realistically. I don't cut across lanes like crazy. The most illegal I go, is overtaking slow trucks on two lane roads.

It's made by a German, so I don't know if there are any incompatibilities with the English version...
I'm getting it all from here:
www.trucksimulator24.de
It's a German forum, unfortunately. However, it does have a UK truck simulator section, and a few people there speak English.
There's a huge amount of stuff for the German Truck Simulator there, and so far everyone is liking ETS2. So if they don't run into any unexpected problems, we're going to see a ton of mods in the coming weeks and months. ..especially maps.
It's not even hard to stay in one lane around a corner, although I am using a wheel.

You can take out a loan and get a better truck...
You can take out a loan and get a better truck...
Fuck Shit Up Co. always loses money after each job
I called my company Fast Logistics Inc. Very creative I know.
I found an old logitech wheel in a chest, it works so now I have pedals and stuff. This is awesome.
heard about this game and thought, "what a load of boring crap"
tried the demo, and i'm addicted
too poor to buy, though =[
I wish i had the cash to buy a wheel and pedals.

Find a Valiant dealer.

While driving, press F6 and then enter, but cancelling a job will cost you a fair chunk of money and some time as well.

The only downside is the pedals don't work as dramatically as they should.
For example when I say "Oh shit" and slam on the breaks to avoid a car stopping on the highway, instead of jerking to a stop it's more of a "Oh, here comes a red-light better start to leasurely slow down"
Same with acceleration. Feels like I can't push past 30MPH without going down a hill.

Check the options menu, should be able to turn it up. I know for the keyboard the steering took a minute to go to the right. I looked up the options and it gave me the slider sensitivity. Might have it for the pedals/wheel setup.

Just wait till you can afford a better engine, it gets better.
