Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Games

Just wanted to bump this thread, since the game got [url=http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93066271]Greenlit[/url] and should be popping up on the Steam Store for anyone who doesn't want to buy a physical copy or buy it directly from the site. There are talks about implementing in multiplayer going around, maybe they'll reveal something in the coming weeks?

Gave this game a download as a joke...I can't believe how enjoyable it is to just drive to and fro completing the deliveries whilst listening to some radio. Goddamn, I'm so glad about this little accident that went better than expected.

Left Monday at about 4 in the afternoon and will be arriving Wednesday Afternoon. Dunno what MP would add except seeing them drive past or following. I'd understand if this was a car driving simulator, I just think lorries/trucks seem a bit slow for MP.

Just having other players you could chat to with a simulated HAM radio system (and then maybe organise convoys and so on, as well as the aforementioned working together in a single company) would be enough of a reason for quite a few people, I believe.

The idea of having multiple people in one company, doing jobs n shit while talking over radio sounds really cool to me. Cool and.. comfy

So, I have ~83,000 euros in the bank right now, made over the course of 3 days and 22 hours. I want to buy a Valiant from the dealership in Verona (where I'm based). I've got most of my points in long haul and 2 in fragile goods. Which one of the trucks should I get at the dealership, and should I take out a loan to cover the rest of the costs, or just continue on making my own profits until I net enough cash on my own to get the truck I want? Trying to get my thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience to work with this game but the pedals don't seem to be detected. help [editline]asd[/editline] got the pedals working, but my steering wheel doesn't want to turn left.

It had pretty much 0 mod support from the developers, and the multiplayer mod is getting better and better every time they have open testing. Not to mention ETS2 is really mod friendly.

This game has robbed 4 and a half hours of my life in the past 2 days. Oh dear. I have a fleet of 3 Yellow DAF XFs. Yay loans. Shame my drivers are crap. They really do need to research UK roads though. It still just feels like they changed the signs green and put the traffic on the other side... (I've physically driven my car on both sides of the channel and it's way different than this game makes out)
