I uninstalled the retail (downloaded from their website) version and installed the Steam version and it loaded my old save no problems. It's stored in the documents folder, but the uninstall didn't delete them (backup if you're worried).

I'm totally adoring this game. The overall presentation and execution is just so nice, and just as a proper sim title should it natively supports widescreen/triple-head and TIR - I'm very happy about that. I do wish that the HUD elements were movable, since the GPS moves to the far right of my right-hand monitor, but that's only a small quibble considering how well the game does everything else.
The AI is actually pretty charming in its implementation (it's so nice of them to wait and flash their lights to let me into traffic), and when they're not busy being so polite and instead doing things like swerving in front of my fully-loaded truck on the motorway and slamming on their brakes for no reason at all, they simply enhance the realism factor by about a thousand percent :v:
After a couple of weeks, I've got 3 trucks (All Volvo FH16's, best bang-for-the-buck rigs in the game imho) and two garages, a couple of sweet lady truckers working the streets for me, and only about 200K of debt and 150K in the bank. Life is good.
Note the swanky driver's plates and "custom" livery for my Greco-Rubbish Haulage business :dance:

Just successfully migrated my product key to Steam too, which is nice.
1 job from level 12 and ~250K cant decide between 2xF16H sleeper and an ai driver or a more expensive/powerful truck (F16H globetraveller XL) for myself and doing a few more jobs before hiring ai
dont hire an ai, just drive yourself for 100% comfyness

Just the usual ETS2 graphics in that thread... Maybe you forgot to set the scaling (or something like that) in the video menu to 100%? Your game may be rendering in lower resolution and upscaling.
set the scaling higher than your native res for best results

Played this game a while back. Did they fix the management/employees side of things? Last time I tried it they made little to no money.
Can you become jackknifed in this?

You have to give your drivers some time to level up (it does take some time). My two drivers pull down about 2-3K a day each currently, I think they're at a 2.5 rating or so right now.

Why does the AA appear to be so low? It's a bit distracting, running on full high everything as far as I can tell.
Game looks great otherwise. Too bad my best steering option is a joystick, but it works well I guess.
Does the Steam version work with an XBOX controller?
