They're smaller, but it's still a really big map. I mean shit. It still takes a while for big trips, the game would just be boring and have no sense of progress if it were to scale.
And yeah, compared to the first game, ETS2 is way better.
Wait. Why does it have the engine like that and it's not under the cockpit?
It's a mod. This is considered a "Conventional" truck, whereas the rest of the trucks are called "Cabovers".
He's using a mod that replaces one of the original trucks with a Kenworth. Or Peterbilt or whatever, I can't really tell them apart. They all look awesome to me.
Yup. This is a Peterbilt 379. Peterbilt have the red circle on the side of the hood.
Urgh this has Sims elements like sleeping?

Not really. You just paste .scs file in Mod folder in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2
i want to turn it off sometimes because the yawning scares the shit out of me and i nearly crash
Lol - the first time he yawned I had it over my speakers quite loud because the truck isn't that loud inside the cab. He yawned and I nearly shit myself. I jumped like crazy. Amnesia simulator 2013.

You might want to try a different mod? If you have one and placed the .scs folder into the \documents\euro truck sim 2\mods folder and it isn't working ... I would say try a different one. That's all I did. Zero wizardry involved.
nah I figured it out, in the zip it was already in a mod folder, I just told it to extract to the existing mods folder without checking the contents, so I had documents/euro truck simulator 2/mod/mod
-snip- wtf i didnt even post anything
Any car mods yet? :v:
I wish you had a small sedan or something from the start that you could use to drive around and discover locations with. As far as I can tell the only way to discover locations that aren't revealed to you in an email before you buy your own truck is to do so on company time.
I remember you could drive a car in one of the 18WoS game. I don't remember which one, but I guess it was Convoy.
Has anybody noticed this?

Look at the dashboard.
Damn. The UK budget was cut or something
That's odd, probably just something to do with the preview. I'm sure it's fine in game.
That's odd, probably just something to do with the preview. I'm sure it's fine in game.
It's the same in game, it sucks because that's the one I use and I tend not to use the GPS thing because there's one on the dash in the exclusive dashboard. So speed and fuel are difficult to see, might just get a different truck.
That's really odd then, do you have the latest version?
Maybe contact the developers or something.
Try fooling with settings like scaling or texture quality.

Try to download an interior mod? Every one of my trucks has some sort of mod affecting the interiors and exteriors of them and I've never had any problems.

Was strange when I saw this. Was delivering supplies to England when I was driving and saw I was taking the tunnel rather than the seaport. First time I went to this part of the game since I seem to get stuck delivering in the same parts of Germany.
The tunnel is pretty damn awesome. I thought that was really neat when I came through it.
just traded my renault premium for a renault magnum
that was a huge mistake, the magnum fucking rolls every turn. I've owned it for an hour and have spent twice the value of the vehicle on service already

Try a Scania or a Volvo, I've blown down the road doing 130+ km/hr in my Scania with a 6x4 chassis and a heavy load before without tipping.
[thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/ets2_00001.jpg[/thumb]
Picture related, my truck at my Headquarters.
the magnum does 150 so easily but anything above 100 and you jackknife with a light touch of the brakes or roll while trying to change lanes
[editline]22nd January 2013[/editline]
I'm about to finish a $220,000 delivery though so as soon as I finish this shit I'm buying a new truck

Where did you find a 220k delivery? The most I've been seeing are 60k deliveries.
