i aint givin no immagrant cars no free rides on my truck innit
I just found a 89k load, from Linz to Cardiff. Must be the longest haul I've ever done so far.
The thing I would focus on would be price per distance, which you can sort by on the freight screen. You'd want a more profitable trip, even if it's shorter because it makes better use of your time.
I know that, it pays like 58 per kilometre
that's me told :v:
Look at that beauty

Gosh, it was a joke.
I don't quite get the AI in this game. Sometimes they'll be flying past me and other times I have to literally slam my brakes to avoid nailing them off the road. I mostly drive in Germany and Austria so far, and I assumed the red circular signs with numbers are speed limits, but I don't understand why the fuck people go so slow if it says like 90 for instance, the truck's max speed is like 85 for me before it just gets really hard to get faster, and I still run up on people in 90 km/h zones. I haven't had any major accidents but I am definitely going to have to get the hang of driving in Europe.
The DJ on EKR Radio just did a shoutout to all of the Euro Truckers of the Simulation variety on the radio just now.
Why do I feel so compelled to buy this? I don't even like trucks.
I'd actually love a game like this set in the US with some older rigs. Old trucks are cool. :v:
Have this. It's the Euro Truck Sim equivalent.

Or pretty much any of the 18 Wheels of Steel series, also made by SCS Software.
18WoS was pretty awesome, but I think Hard Truck was my favorite old trucking series.

That actually happens quite a bit. I've heard it about 5 times. He also was giving a concert announcement and they were going to Vermont, but they only had the abbreviation and he didn't know what VT was. So I sent them an email, and on his next commercial break he said he got an email and it was Vermont! Lol. Felt special.

Cool. Both of those actually have one-hour trials. I miss the days when trials and demos were more common. I like to actually know whether I'll enjoy something before I buy it.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 actually has an unlimited time demo, it just has specific restrictions. It's pretty crazy. I could have played the demo for a long time but I wanted to support it.
How do I increase my other drivers' profit? I have two trucks now (mine and 1 AI) and that driver is averaging 15 euros a day and usually earns just 300 euros per trip. All guys in recruitment agencies have the same 0.8 rating.
And is there a pause with a free cam to take some pics?

You just have to wait, They get better over time. (Slow process tough)

Yeah she leveled up once, but can't you find already decent drivers in the agencies? I thought they'd be randomized.
Does the chassis type restrict any kind of trailer/load?

No, only your skill categories restrict specific hauls.
All chassis does is trade off smaller turn radii for increased traction and more responsive controls which helps a lot with heavy (high value) cargo.
Doesn't mean you can stop on a dime though, had this happen Friday night and I used my motorbrake too since people somehow love to stop in the middle of the road.

I have found a few 1.7 drivers in the hiring agencies, but mostly 0.8
I have a few drivers that are getting 3-4k euro per trip (About 2500 a day) and they are level 3-4. They have been driving for me since I first hired, and I have 20 trucks now and 20 drivers. Most of my drivers are ~500-900 euro a day though. Just be patient with them.

I press the engine braking button, but the muscle memory from driving a car kicks in and I push the clutch pedal. Making the whole thing pointless and this happens:
