Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Games

+ Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy Since the latest patch my profits increased alot. Drivers are more efficient now, I have 4 hired each driver makes around 4-6k€ per load.

About to reach level 12, any suggestions for what truck I should buy? Also, could someone tell me how 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 perform compared to eachother?

Get the 6x2, 4x2 falls over all the fucking time. I downgraded one of my trucks to try it and I just keep falling over and losing control..

Not sure if you've found this out yet, but i'm posting it anyways. :v: A friend found out you need to enable mods in your profile after the recent patch.

I wish it was possible to downshift despite using automatic shifting. Sometimes the automatic is a bitch.

What does the transmission upgrade even do? It seems to just be the same name with an 'R' for most trucks, costs six grand more and appears to do nothing from what I can gather.

Too complicated for a moron like me to handle (with gamepad) so I set it to auto in the options. It supplements braking.

Just bought the game a few days ago. Just wondering if its me, Or do Drivers always lose you money?

It takes em awhile before they start making money.

It's normal at the start. 2 of 4 deliveries were positive in earnings (200-300€) so yeah, it's pain in the ass but it pays off later. I have 7 drivers, 3 of them have rating 5 others are ranking up and believe me each delivery brings at least 4k€+. BTW guys who use H-shifter. I use physics mod which simulates 14 -18 gear transmissions but I can't get past 12 gear with normal H-shifter settings. My question is how to add more ranges to shifter?(only 2 possible for me).

How do I turn on mouse look when using keyboard steering? I can only figure out how to have keyboard only controls or use mouse steering, I can't find any freelook option.

Hm, game costs $12 on GreenManGaming. Gonna try the demo and see how this is. Seems rather interesting.

i dont understand the appeal of this game, please don't take this as hate, i just dont understand why people would want to drive trucks in a game from point A to point B Could somebody please explain to me why people like this is a game, or why people enjoy it? I'm genuinely curious

I'm just not sure what you expect people to say. There's not a lot to be said beyond what's in the thread already. (Certainly any description makes it sound boring.) People have different tastes. I mean, why do people like Wasabi? "I like the taste" isn't particularly useful. You have to taste it for yourself.
