Probably. But I'm sure with a Volvo and top engine and without a trailer you could hit 200km/h, and going that fast he could send your ass into orbit, but to him he simply just passes you. Happened to me before, seen it happen to a guy in front of me before. Completely accidental but it just happens
I think the majority of cheats are for levels and money, though. It's not really fun to speedhack in a truck driving game, to be honest

I've noticed that red lights sometimes don't change at all. It might be red on their screen but green to everyone else.
Explains why after waiting for a while, driving through the "red" light gives no fines at all.
The MP servers need more admin staff or a better way to catch people fucking it up for everyone else.
Lost count of how many times in the past 24 hours some douche-canoe has purposefully gone out of their way just to ruin the fun for everyone else.

Easier way is to just go through them at high speed and they give you no fine since the game calculates that you can't stop your truck fast enough. :v:
You could always change the police setting from 1 to 0 in the cfg file and not have to worry about it at all. Might be a wise thing to do in multiplayer anyway as sometimes traffic lights are out of sync, though I haven't seen it myself yet

Thanks for this, I've been having a lot of issues with the traffic lights not showing correctly and getting fined driving through cities. I won't have that [I]friendly[/I] hundred euro reminder to turn on my headlights but whatever.

Or you can just swerve into the other lane before you cross the line, then get back into your lane at the other end of the intersection.
The game normally would fine you for driving on the wrong side of the road, but since you only did it for a short distance it forgives you.
Running a red light on the other hand, is an instant fine; but you didn't actually [I]cross[/I] the red light line, because it's only on one side of the road. :v:
I got hit twice for 100%/100% and watched two others get nailed between the port and Rotterdam within just a few minutes. Is it just me or is it russians nearly every time? Fuck Rotterdam/Amsterdam, going to stay the hell away from there.

Just installed the MP mod. I'm so lost with it. I made a new profile since I put so much time into my current SP account. And I did a job, but there are no jobs available on the market for me.
Edit: Checked the forums for it, tells me to do a console economy refresh. I'll give it a go.

If you don't own your own truck and are doing quick jobs, the console economy refresh will work. My friend thought he had to restart his game but you only need to reload the profile (profile button in top right corner of main menu). Sometimes you need to reload the profile twice.
Don't do the refresh if you own your own truck unless you want to teleport your truck back to the garage. Just go to sleep, it will give you new jobs.
I have two profiles, but I'm a bit wary of using my main profile for MP. So I made a separate one, and the refresh worked.
Played quite a bit of the MP mod, and it's really fun and all, but the main problem I have with it is the same as with every other MP game and that being that people are pricks.
I constantly get dick specifically ram me and it's made me not want to play the mod. On the upside though it's got me playing the base game again.

There are autosaves, thanks god, and I also find that you can already tell if someone drives properly or not from distance, just slow down and drive to the side of the road until he passed. Barely made any accidents lately, nor did I have to pay unusual amounts for repair.
You could also switch to the EU server, obviously you'd have less people since timezones, but usually the people who play at nighttime drive pretty decent.
Does other mods such as the 2500hp one work with MP?
