Them reflexes though
I think I'll wait until the first expansion that adds Arizona or Nevada before I pick this up. I only want to play it in Multiplayer and I think ATS is WAY too small right now for the number of players that are playing it

Holy shit I can't believe people are using these 1 way roads as two ways, this game is to real for me.
Yeah, going down one of those was kind of a nightmare experience with about a dozen trucks going from either side, I think next time it tells me to go that way, I'll find a way around. :v:

I was thinking as he was passing hey, double yellow doesn't make much sense t... OOoooohhhhhh
Now stop posting these videos. You're making me want to get it now

The icing on the cake.
Fak. I got banned on ats : mp for attempting to make a u turn and go down a up merge ramp.
96hr ban just for Attempting!!!!
They've released a demo for ATS, worth checking out if you're undecided about it.
The demo is limited by the number of jobs taken and only contains the state of California, but technically it's identical with the game itself. If you purchase the game after playing the demo, you can continue driving where you have left off, as the save game stored in the demo mode is compatible with the full game.
They've got something really nice coming in a few days, looking forward to a traditionally styled truck in ATS more than anything.

I'm hoping they adjust the fines and the speed limits
I got a mod to add the Kenworth T800 to ATS, and uhh... it let me put bullbars in each of the bullbar accessory slots for some reason.

If only they actually reduced crash damage :v
I decided to go off roading and see if there were any invisible walls.
There weren't any. I just drove off the map.

Thing is a beast. 650HP. Long hauls are like so much shorter now with the acceleration and torque.
So I'm thinking of buying ATS because I really enjoyed the demo and just cannot get into the spirit of ETS2, what with its cabovers only and wrong-side of the roadiness. However, I am worried about truck and location variety. What kind of timeframe are we looking at for more trucks and locations? I know Arizona is next, but I mean something more like Oregon or Utah, something with more greenery and less desert. I also know the old Kenworth is coming in, too, which is lovely but that still caps out at 3 trucks.

States after Arizona release will probably be DLC, just like countries in ETS2. Probably 6 months-1 year until we see a new state.
I hate the speed limits so much, goes from 55 down to 40 to 35 to then quiclky go down to 30 then straight back up to 55, like what?

I'd just disable the fines for speeding. Go by the honor system. It's stupid to be clearly in the right with what makes sense yet still get fined
Kinda want to to an ETS2/ATS convoy, but I wouldn't know where/how to set one up and I can't be bothered to look into it :v:
No police in MP which is nice.
There's a speed limit of 37 in cities and 68 outside cities, so even in 55 zones you can go 68 but the server immediately lowers your truck's engine power if you're about to go faster than that
Protip : don't go through Oxnard

This game's multiplayer is so anal it makes train simulator people look carefree and fun loving in comparison.

There is another server without the limit though.

Cops in ATS are positively draconian. I've driven behind CHP cruisers passing trucks that were doing at least 70 and they sure as hell didn't get pulled over.
rusmap is fucking cool

Most annoying thing about the cops for me is how inconsistent they feel. Seems like I can speed past them doing 90 in a 30 zone and they'll pay no attention, but when I go 35 for a couple seconds in a 30 zone because I couldn't slow down fast enough for the rapid changes in speed limit it nets me that juicy speeding fine.
Does anyone know if the specs of the trucks I give my employees will impact their performance?
Or can I just buy the cheapest trucks to have people on the road?

The sort of truck matters in ETS2 but it was only added somewhat recently, I'm not sure about ATS.

Alright. I'm talking ETS2, probably should've clarified that. Thanks
I'd like to see large commercial trailerless flatbed trucks in ATS. I don't know what the proper term is.

I know lots of companies use them for intra-state deliveries and the like. Would be a nice different thing to add.
